A lovely place in the Poggiofranco area of ​​Bari. We went there for lunch and ordered pizza. The pizzas were delicious and very large. The pizza is typical of Bari (thin). The ingredients are plentiful. The staff is friendly. We had no trouble booking. We'll be back 😊

I felt at ease enjoying an excellent Assassina and good wine, but the highlight was the amazing tiramisu. The staff was kind and helpful, as well as knowledgeable and professional. Highly recommended. Kudos to the entire staff.

We were passing through the area and chose this restaurant to try typical local dishes such as spaghetti all'assassina, potatoes, rice, and mussels. The dishes completely satisfied our palate. The staff were kind, attentive, and accommodating to our requests for a quiet spot since we had a newborn with us. The price was good for the quality.

I visited this place with a group of friends. The reservation was honored, and we didn't have to wait to be seated. I ordered the Japigia pizza (mozzarella, baby spinach, prosciutto, and orange honey): it was very difficult to eat after the first piece, as they had added an excessive amount of honey, making it quite cloying; furthermore, the prosciutto was a bit too salty. The table setting has a few quirky touches, with carafes for drinks and a colander for the fritters, but this doesn't justify the €2.50 cover charge (note: fritters are not included in the cover charge). The menu is varied, ranging from first courses, second courses, pizzas, and panzerotti; it also includes a section dedicated to the Italian, Latin, and Bari alphabets, written in questionable Italian and full of errors (e.g., S = "emme," and not S = "esse"; B = be, and not B = bi). Allergens are marked with a red dot next to the dish containing them, but the specific allergen is not specified, with a simple link to the final page of the menu containing a list of all allergens. The staff is friendly and helpful. The wait for the pizzas was a bit long; they brought our beers right away, so they were quite warm by the time the main courses arrived. A place of no reputation, I don't think I'll return.
