12/01/2025: A very famous place and almost impossible to book without long notice. Tried the infamous tortellino: the cream is delicious, the tortellino itself is excellent but I've tried equally good ones around Emilia. Crazyly exaggerated but unforgettable, the Petroniana weighs over 1kg... they serve it for 2 but it would be for 3/4 people. Brought home and consumed the next day, it was always very tender thanks to top-notch raw materials. Fast but a little erratic service (very formal waiter and overly easy-going sommelier) and initially a long wait standing in the small entrance. Very high price (80-100 per head) for the type of place. Justified by quality? Perhaps in part, the normal cappelletti in broth (no cream) at €27 are off the market, the Petroniana at €45 is fair given quality and quantity. In any case, the demand is very high so perhaps they could increase prices further without suffering the consequences..
