I was here one morning (late October) because I saw they were finally open when I went around the block. I was looking forward to a cannolo (but no cannoli were baked that morning, weird but ok) so I got the pistacchio corne and it was good. Just that the man seemed like I almost disturbed him by coming in and buying something.
Anyway, if you’re on Panarea, go ahead and give it a try and maybe they’ll have a cannolo if they happen to be open (I suppose June-August, they should be open almost all the time). Btw I think he gave me a discount from 4 eur to 2 eur on my pistacchio cone (not sure if it was an off-season discount or not-today’s-corne discount). :))

My girlfriend and I stayed in Panarea for 4 days, and ate at the Panarea bakery several times a day. Absolutely worth trying: Pepita, aubergine parmigiana, aubergine meatballs, mozzarella in carrozza, and above all the donut!!

We tasted a pistachio arancino (sweet and liquid inside) and the Messina python (very good).
There is a large space to eat in the shade but under that porch the air doesn't circulate and it's really very hot.
Great place to stop and take a break,
Exquisite food, we had both breakfast and lunch. The breakfast was excellent, stuffed and tasty croissants, very good pizzas, the lady advised us to get a truly mouth-watering filling.

Everything excellent from bread to pizzas to fried foods.... Nuggets can be eaten at any time... even when it's 35 degrees outside
I organized a last minute lunch on the boat, only Giancarla could help me in 2 hours on board I had freshly baked parmigiana, very fresh octopus and potato salad and the fantastic freshly made aubergine meatballs
If you are in Panarea you cannot miss going to Panarea bakery in the oven.

Usually, when guides advise, there is always a bit of distrust. In this case we wanted to trust and we truly discovered paradise! Top quality arancini, delicious bread and, to date, one of the best Sicilian cannoli I've ever eaten! All seasoned with the courtesy and kindness of the owner who, despite being a group of 14 people including adults and children, gave us all the time to eat, relax and pay in complete tranquility! Would I go back? Surely! Running... or rather, swimming!
