A place I used to frequent as a student with friends. The owners have changed over time (not all of them), but the atmosphere and food have remained the same, always distinctive and good.

The staff were very kind and helpful. The table for two was too small, the couple next to us had such a loud voice that it sounded like they were at a concert. The Florentine steak was disappointing: too fatty and completely lacking in seasoning, so much so that I had to ask for salt and pepper on the side. Unfortunately, for meat, it's not a place I'd return to.

The true and oldest Florentine trattoria. Chef Lorenzo Guidi, besides being a master of conviviality, also offers traditional dishes that are hard to find in the city center, where many cater solely to tourists' tastes, not to us locals. Definitely worth a try!

I was there two weeks ago. I went back the next evening too. The food was excellent and plentiful, the staff very kind and slightly distracted. And the price for being in the center of Florence is really fair. I really recommend it and when I return to Florence I will definitely go there again.

Super friendly staff, we didn't have a reservation but they still found us a table. The gnuti with tomato sauce was amazing. The fillet with potatoes was top notch.

09/12/2025: It's always crowded, it's very cramped, you mingle with other people, you step on each other's toes... but that's the beauty of it! A true Florentine wine shop, passed down from father to son, that I've been frequenting occasionally for 40 years. If one day it were to disappear or be transformed into something more chic and trendy, I would miss it. I can't give it 5 stars because it is what it is, but for the atmosphere it has, I'd give it 6!

15/11/2025: Nothing to say, except for drinks from €33 to €5, I'm not arguing with quality and service, even the prices are in line, maybe I repeat some small things could be more affordable, €5 for a Coke and €7 for a Nipozzano makes little sense, either raise your glass or lower the drink... For the rest, compliments for the selection of meats and the efficiency of the service.
04/11/2025: Returning from Bologna in three different first courses... fast service and excellent dishes. Prices in line with other good restaurants.
