I used it on my recent trip to Italy. The menu was in Italian and English. I could only speak a little English, so I had to use a translator to order, but the staff were kind, showing me the pasta noodles and meat and explaining them to me, as well as letting me try the pasta and other dishes during the service. All the food was delicious and we had a wonderful time! thank you very much!

Simpatica trattoria con menù toscano e fiorentino in un centro di Firenze che si sta snaturando per la presenza asfissiante di locali rivolti soltanto ai turisti (quindi cari con piatti di scarsa qualità). Qui invece si propone una cucina con la "supervisione" di una clientela fiorentina (molti i clienti abituali) a prezzi onesti. Abbiamo mangiato porzioni adeguate e ben cucinate: da menzionare l'ottimo baccalà con fagioli e i dessert. Meno convincenti i coccoli, un po' insapori e poco lievitati, e il vino della casa a 16 euro al litro, veramente caruccio. I 5 punti sono per non aver ceduto alle lusinghe dei soldi facili a scapito della tradizione: di trattorie così in centro ne sono rimaste poche.

Excellent home cooking in the heart of Florence at honest prices! We ate the pici all'aglione (exceptional) and the pepone all'impruneta (fantastic, they melted in your mouth). We will definitely be back!

Quick, efficient, courteous. Ate well and spent the right amount. We tried the tripe and the tortelli. Excellent. I recommend liver crostini plus capers. But still definitely ok. Passed with full marks

Das Essen selbst und sehr freundlicher Umgang-das ist das, was wir hervorheben können. Und dazu noch ganz moderate Preise…Unser erster Tag in Florenz hatte einen köstlichen Ausklang.

Locale consigliato. Locale caratteristico e molto easy. Pietanze buone. Prezzo adeguato. Non ho messo 5 stelle solo perché il cameriere era un po’ triste ( dai noi soprannomito ALLEGRIA)

31/01/2025: I went for lunch with my wife, without booking and I have to say that we had a great time, there is the menu of the day and also the classic menu, I ate the spaghetti ai templari really good and abundant, my wife had the pizza excellent the price is right

15/02/2025: Not to be missed in Florence, definitely in the top 3 trattorias in this city for me: Excellent Tuscan classics, lots of variety in the menu and for all prices - you can eat very simple and delicious dishes as well as more elaborate and high quality dishes! Big bonus for wine lovers, the owner advises very well, very good place to discover Tuscan wines. And of course super welcoming staff!
09/02/2025: First time, pleasant environment, very friendly staff. We had a fish dinner, good quality, generous portions, adequate price. Experience to repeat!
