Excellent restaurant. Try the tuna carbonara and the fried calamari rings

The food was beyond my expectations, I especially liked the pasta but the mussels and fish were also on point. The staff was also friendly and helpful and the location is nice and clean. The prices are not exactly cheap but the freshness and quality were ok. If I come back to Catania I will definitely visit them again.

A nice restaurant with quite large portions

Unfortunately in a city of incredible food, this one is just fine. The quality and taste would satisfy a tourist for sure, but once you have spent a lot of time in Catania you know you can get much better for the same price or less. If you are a fish lover they do have a good selection though. I would not go back myself but it's an okay option for dinner.

Pasé por este lugar y lo vi lleno (siempre una buena señal! ). Tuvimos una gran comida aquí. Tenía una deliciosa ensalada de pulpo para empezar y un especial de un linguini de langosta que a 25 € era fantástico valor. Mi esposa tomó un delicioso filete y tempura de gambas. La comida era muy buena y el servicio era muy bueno. Recomendaría

We went to Palinuro Catania for dinner and left really satisfied. The restaurant has a welcoming atmosphere, with attention to detail but without being excessive: perfect for a quiet evening of good food. We started with a really well-made fisherman's risotto: tasty, rich in fresh seafood and with the rice cooked perfectly, al dente as it should be. Followed by paccheri with sardines and wild fennel, a traditional Sicilian dish executed very well, with an excellent balance between the flavor of the sardines and the scent of the fennel. Fried calamari couldn't be missing: light, crunchy and not at all greasy. Truly one of the highlights of the evening. Finally, we tasted the swordfish rolls, soft, well seasoned and with a tasty filling that did not cover the flavor of the fish but enhanced it. The service was friendly and attentive, without ever being intrusive. The staff were able to advise us with competence, transmitting passion for what they do. The quality-price ratio is also excellent, considering the quality of the ingredients and the care taken in preparing the dishes. Ultimately, Palinuro is a restaurant that we highly recommend to those looking for fresh fish cooked with respect for tradition and a touch of creativity. We will definitely be back! Everything is exceptional, the food is truly delicious, we tried many things from the menu and everything is truly delicious, the location is truly beautiful and the staff is fantastic, I absolutely recommend it!
