PACO WINES In Alberobello

We happened upon this place by chance with a group of friends after a lovely tour of the trulli. We were warmly welcomed by the owner, Francesco, who, with great warmth and knowledge, recommended a good Primitivo wine (we ended up drinking three bottles). The appetizers (fritters, pickled vegetables, cheeses, salami, and capocollo from Martina Franca) were all excellent. So if you want to drink good wine in a nice place accompanied by delicious appetizers, Paco Wines is the place to go.

We immediately felt at ease. Francesco welcomed us with professionalism, expertise, and friendliness. He was able to understand and fulfill our every wish, both in terms of wine and food. The quality of the ingredients and the variety of choices are excellent, so I can only highly recommend him. Thank you, Francesco! We'll be back soon and bring our other friends too!

Incredible experience! What was a cold rainy day in Alberobello, turned into a magical two hours just trying to take shelter from the rain. Once we were seated, we were greeted by Francesco, the owner of Paco Wines. He asked us what sort of wines we liked and how he could find something we would enjoy. We sort of felt like a little Rosé, so he returned to allow us to sample three different ones. All were great and we enjoyed our first glass. We ordered some light snacks. He returned later to allow us to try some reds. He also made a great effort to get to know us and tell us about his business. He has a great passion for what he does and it comes across. My wife settled on a wonderful Primitivo (the best I had tried in Italy BTW). I got a glass of Negroamario...absolutely stunning. I bought a bottle to bring back home. What an amazing two hours. Francesco was so warm and welcoming. And when we were done and walked outside, the sky was breaking to reveal blue skies. Another Italian miracle!

We found it to be excellent, and a total success. The place, the atmosphere, and the quality of the wines and tapas they served were incredible. The staff's friendliness was amazing; even though they barely knew our language, they did their best to understand us perfectly. I will definitely recommend it to everyone. At Paco Wines, I had one of the best wine experiences of my life. While the menu is simple, it's perfect for a wine-focused experience. The wine list is extensive and diverse. The ambiance is ideal and enhances the experience. And the service is even better! I highly recommend treating yourself to a moment at Paco Wines.

A wonderful place! The staff is truly lovely and so friendly!! The products are local and delicious. They explain everything about the products to us and give us great advice! If you're ever in Alberobello, you have to go there!!

Wine bar for a quiet dinner, good music, very professional waitress, delicious cold cuts and cheese board, excellent wines

If I could give this place 100 stars I would. The person serving us was absolutely amazing, the music was brilliant and the wine even better. AND it was great value. Please go there if you're ever in Alberobello!
