Pacan In Laigueglia

Even though I booked well in advance, they reserved a seat for me in the back, in a hot spot...the pizza was decent...the craft beer was good...the service was good.

We spent a week in Laigueglia as a family at the beginning of July and, on our first evening in town, stumbled upon the "Pacan" more or less by chance. We were so impressed that we ended up eating there five out of seven evenings – and we really should have gone to the "Pacan" on the other two days as well, instead of trying other restaurants in the city center... From our perspective, all we can say is: We had excellent food at fair prices at the "Pacan" (not a given in Laigueglia), and the service was also excellent overall. My personal recommendation: definitely try a farinata, the Brandacujun, or the Mezze penne alla Ligure. And, of course, one of Labi's wonderful beers! The "Pacan" gelateria across the street is also highly recommended. Especially when the line at the somewhat hyped "iano" ice cream parlor next door is (too) long again... ;)

Historic place in the center of town. You can sit both inside and in the large outdoor terrace on the square. I highly recommend booking and a little patience for the assignment of the table, there are some peak moments where given the many people waiting and booked you need to wait anyway. The dishes are genuine and many local ingredients are used, such as fish, very fresh and tasty. The cuisine is mainly express with a few ready-made preparations and this is certainly a strong point, with high digestibility of the dishes. The pizza is special with a crunchy dough topped a little minimally (some slices remain only sauce). The strong dish is definitely the seafood pasta, very very good. Average portions, pretty good service with always patience however in waiting for the menus and then for the order to be taken, but once you have ordered the kitchen flies (the pizzeria is a little slower). Overall good, worth trying.

Insufficient portions, little attention to customers. Poor friendliness, but this seems to be a prerogative of the places in Laigueglia.

We've been frequenting the place for about 15 years there have been changes both in the kitchen (master Antonio has left his mark) and in the restaurant but the general level has always been excellent. It's our favorite place.
