Ottavo Senso In Paternò

We had a calzone and a pizza. I have to say, it was really good. It was light and the toppings were excellent, but we waited over an hour, even though there weren't many people. We were tempted to leave. I don't know if there was a temporary problem or if it was just poor organization, but I have to say it was worth it.

A name could never have been more fitting: "Ottavo Senso" is an experience that goes beyond taste, engaging all the senses. The interior layout features a non-linear table layout, and on warm summer evenings, the lack of air conditioning is noticeable. Fortunately, there is plenty of outdoor seating in the square, a setting the owners have boldly enhanced, in collaboration with other nearby businesses, bringing a touch of color and liveliness to Paternò's otherwise dull summer nights. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, with warm and professional service that deserves a solid 8/10. The menu is a perfect balance between tradition and innovation: classic pizzas retain familiar names and flavors, but there are also more extravagant creations, crafted with class and almost divine in taste. Quality is the real strength: light, well-leavened dough, also offered with special flour blends; ultra-fresh, top-quality toppings. A pizza that, in terms of technique and ingredients, ranks among the best ever. In short, "Ottavo Senso" is a place where passion and care for pizza blend with the energy of the square, giving Paternò a livelier and tastier summer.

Very nice and characteristic place, very kind staff, and excellent food! The only flaw, which is also meant to be a tip, is too long a wait!

Good appetizers and good sandwiches, the only flaw was the pizzas but not for the dough or the cooking, but rather for the sauce that was unseasoned, in a few words out of the can and put on the pizza and the lady (I assume the owner) insisted that it could not be unseasoned, I do not understand why not admit the mistake? Nevertheless she was ready to make us do something else but by then it was too late and we gave up.

A place with a wide choice, not particularly refined but certainly excellent for a quick evening.

Not an exciting pizzeria, decent pizza, 22 of us were seated at an L-shaped table, not very functional. Very nice inside but minimalist and dull on the outside. My personal opinion, I wouldn't go back.

I found the pizzeria very clean and tidy, the staff very polite and kind, the food good.

With the food and the courtesy they almost made up for the initial wait for the order, in a place managed by expert waiting staff at least the drinks should be brought first! Pay attention to the customer and when the drink is finished (during the wait) order another. It's a place I recommend.
