Probably the best Gelato I have ever had. 76% cacao flavor was awesome. Fruit flavors are intense.

I was there yesterday because my daughter was curious and wanted to find out. The ice cream is good but no more and no less than other ice cream shops. The only difference is the price and the doses. A kilo of ice cream in a tub is €30, half a kilo is €16. The cone 2 scoops (small) €3, a scoop is €2. Best wishes OLATEG ...ice cream in reverse.

I tried pistachio(salted?) and cheese sth which recommended as the best seller flavors in store. It’s great🥰💖 the price is also quite cheap so really recommend!!

I’ve had pistachio and hazelnut from other establishments and Otaleg was the first to have ground hazelnuts and pistachio in the final product— the result was the perfect balance of light sweetness and rich nuttiness . Truly exceptional!

I change the review after I went there several times because first of all the quality of the ice cream seems to have really changed compared to the historic ice cream shop in Colli Portuensi. Also there is an unjustified queue that moves slowly. I add a note for the lady at the counter to whom I pointed out the absurdity of this wait: if I had wanted ice cream from the other location I would obviously have gone there, but since I was there the Trastevere location seemed like the most logical choice, so little sarcasm towards a customer who simply pointed out an inefficiency in the management of the queue. Thank you

08/05/2025: My absolute favorite ice cream shop! I discovered this place by chance ordering a 550g tub to be delivered to my home and I was amazed. Since that day, every time I want to give myself a gift I go to this ice cream shop! They have a huge choice and their flavors are all super tasty and intense. Different creams are available such as Nutella, white Nutella, caramel and others: a gift for the palate. For a dessert lover like me it is the ideal place. Pistachio with almonds, balengo and hazelnuts with Nutella also deserve a mention for their goodness. The portions are huge, with the option of adding a Nutella/white chocolate topping on top of your ice cream. Average prices and always very friendly staff. Don't miss it!

07/05/2025: Good ice cream but nothing special. Particular flavors but too much and the price perhaps a little high.
06/05/2025: We ate a lot of ice cream this holiday. All at completely gluten-free gelaterias. But this one was the absolute winner!
