We went for an aperitif and were pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere, the great platter, and the excellent cocktails. We'll definitely be back.

Spacious and well-maintained, with a lovely outdoor terrace. Delicious platters with little gems you won't find anywhere else, like exotic sauces. Excellent wines, as always, great cocktails, and spirits. Highly recommended.

I stopped by a few days ago and noticed a new look, given the new ownership. The restaurant has a beautiful medieval decor with a spacious outdoor area. The aperitif is very rich and delicious, with some original touches and touches that really satisfy the customer. I'll be back.

I was in the area for a fair. By now it seemed a bit late to go home, so four of us decided to head to Varese for a stroll around the city and find a place to relax, chat a bit, and above all, review the three days of the fair we'd just spent. It was a beautiful, interesting fair, full of exciting opportunities. Wandering around town, much like we used to do in the old days, we asked locals for a quiet place to drink good wine and grab a bite to eat. Since it really matters who you find in these situations, we asked a few people. Three or four of them recommended this place. They told us to check the recent reviews because the place had changed management a few months ago. Changes of management are usually never a success, so we were honestly a bit skeptical. But what do you do, ask and then you don't trust them? We called to reserve a table. Someone answered and said they'd reserve a table for us inside—no problem. The approach was kind and undoubtedly professional. We calmly set off, intent on trying this place, OstiNati. What can I say, we immediately had a great impression. Alessandro greeted us, super kind and absolutely professional. He showed us to our table. Unfortunately, there was no room outside, but we appreciated the fact that he was willing to move us outside if a table became available soon. The place is spacious, well-maintained, and well-kept. The only downside was a bit of buzz, but it wasn't disruptive at all. The attendance was good, if not excellent. The bar area was buzzing with cocktails being prepared, which were very pleasing to the eye. We opted for wine. The selection was good, and we appreciated the recommendations. That evening, they served excellent tartare and burgers worthy of the name. One thing we liked above all was that once we were served, we didn't have staff asking us every three minutes, "How are you?" or to take our plate away at the first hint of cutlery on it. Everything was great, very, very satisfied. My only regret was not taking photos; perhaps it was tiredness. Perhaps it was the unexpected welcome we received, but between the chatter, the relaxation, the good food, and a few extra drinks we enjoyed, did we have time to check our phone? I would have liked to try a dessert, and the selection was super interesting. The other diners had a chocolate dessert and a fruit one. It looked interesting, but don't be offended; the white wine was flowing beautifully. A super positive experience, glad we tried it. If we ever get back, we'll definitely be back. Congratulations to the NEW Managers for their professionalism, the quality of their products, the attention to detail, and the passion they infuse into what they do. Absolutely admirable. Siamo stati con amici per la seconda volta in questo locale in centro Varese per aperitivi con stuzzichini e tanto altro. Trattasi di un ambiente piuttosto accogliente e ricercato e non abbiamo nemmeno trovato tanta confusione. Le cameriere gentilissime. Lo Consiglio!
