Osteria Virgilio In Parma

We happened to pass by here and were surprised by the good cuisine. Classic Italian menu, authentically prepared. The service was super nice and friendly (even in English). You really enjoy spending your evening here!

Very sad note....I'm also a little sorry to write what follows. A glass of good Lambrusco but such a small quantity that I was ashamed for the innkeeper. The platter of cured meats and cheeses was excellent and almost stratospheric (especially the cheeses). I would have liked the mocetta not to be seasoned (my personal taste) but everything was above average, in fact high quality, the tortelli were good but after a platter like this everything remains basic. I'm really sorry for the amount of wine that must be defined as negligible 🍷 ......I say 2 fingers were enough, maybe even 1.5 more than the first line on the glass. 🫣🫣🫣🫣🫣🫣🫣

Delicious and relaxed in a great little square next to some fun student bars, great food and terrace, the stewed pear dessert made with yogurt made my dinner companion lose her MIND

A limited menu but with only quality products! We had the charcuterie plate which was a treat, the broth with horse legs and tartare, a real treat!

Locale informale , accogliente e pulito . Personale professionale . Il menù non prevedeva una ampia scelta , ma tutto quello che abbiamo ordinato ha ampiamente soddisfatto le aspettative . Noi abbiamo pranzato in un giorno feriale , magari in altri momenti c’è la possibilità di una scelta più ampia , tuttavia piuttosto che tanti piatti meglio puntare alla qualità di ciò che si serve . Se dovessi ricapitare a Parma sicuramente tornerei.👏👏👏

All really excellent, typical dishes reinterpreted with great taste. Trattoria that is a certainty. The prices are not like a trattoria but compared to the places in the center of Parma in the standard.

Locale carino e particolare. Il posto è piccolo ma curato e il menù va in base alle stagioni e l’ho molto apprezzato. La scelta non è vastissima ma ci sono cose per tutti i gusti e tanti piatti con verdure, cosa che ho apprezzato tantissimo. Il personale giovane e molto gentile, è il posto ideale per una cena tra amiche un po’ diversa dal solito.
