Among the various trattorias in Taormina, this is one of the most enjoyable seafood dining experiences, but we also had excellent meat. The staff was helpful, fast, and friendly. 2024
We returned again this year, and they confirmed the positive comments we had last year. We had excellent seafood, cooked to perfection, as always. The service was impeccable, as always. The only negative was that our reservation disappeared; we had to wait 20 minutes for a table.

A lovely restaurant in the historic center of Taormina. The experience was very pleasant, with delicious, carefully prepared dishes. Thanks to Silvia for accompanying us on this romantic dinner; she was very kind and professional. I highly recommend her.

We enjoyed our meal and service from Andrea - was great. I appreciated that their menu prices weren’t as inflated as all the other restaurants in the town. We had the cotoletta di pollo as well as the lasagna bolognese.

Andar was a great waiter and the food was delicious!! Pasta is exactly what we were looking for. Definitely stay for dessert as the tiramisu is incredible! 4 star for atmosphere as we weren’t on the terrace but interior is still a nice experience

I ordered fried fish and vegetables. I was given a plate of fried seafood, mostly calamari. When I pointed this out to a waiter I was shown two fish fingers within the platter. So they cant even get the order right. When most of our party had finished they cleared the table while I was still eating. Not good enough.

Very friendly service. Wonderful mean. Veal was amazing. Octopus starter was perfectly prepared. Apple crisp was excellent. Very fairly priced and extensive wine list. Solid cocktail choices but not a distinctive as all the rest. Most important, we could speak to each other without shouting.
