I've had dinner there a couple of times and it's always been good. Friendly, attentive and fast service. Casperia is worth a visit, and if you come, I recommend eating here.

MUST READ TO THE END, THANKS
Please don't come to Casperia, much less to Vigna!
I say it for you, the risk is great; once you leave your car in the large car park and go through the town gate, you risk entering another world, forget it.
Who is more accustomed to the noise of children chasing each other around the little square (the center is exclusively pedestrian), free to be children?
How many can bear the sight of groups of friends conversing amiably in the company of a good glass?
And do we want to talk about all those annoying sun rays that at sunset set the horizon on fire in an explosion of a thousand colors whose existence we were unaware of?
These are all things that can hurt!
And it is precisely a force of evil that then attracts us towards the tables of the Osteria Vigna, a real attack on the line!!!!
To avoid making the situation worse, I won't describe the appetizers, the refinement of the quality cured meats and cheeses, the EVO oils, the freshness of the tarts. Same fate for the first courses, a deadly explosive mixture (of flavours) which, starting from tradition, will lead you to lose yourself inexorably in a sea of flavours. Now in the throes of a sort of addiction, nothing can save you from the second courses and desserts, most of which are produced by as many minds and hands of skilled enchanters. I would like to overlook the cellar but I can't: I can instead swear on what is most dear to me that the innkeeper (as that new fire-eater from Lombardy likes to be called) has tasted all the wines and what's worse is that he has forcibly forced Even his friends can taste them, poor innocents!!!!!!!
The availability and smile of the dining room staff will accompany you at the end, now dazed, to the cash register where you will certainly have nothing to reiterate about the bill.
So my new Ulysses who will read this review, don't be enchanted by the siren song of those who have written positive things, avoid Casperia, stay away from Osteria Vigna ...………… leave it to me and my friends!!!!!
P.S. No, I don't think we can hypothesize a sort of conflict of interest, I am neither the president of the Pro Loco of Casperia nor a shareholder of the Osteria Vigna, but only someone who deeply loves both!!!!

... friends had lived in Casperia for a period and invited us to spend a different day in the name of revival and discovering a beautiful medieval village in Lazio
Departure early, they don't remember the road well, but we rely on the navigator, hitch due to the intervention of the Fire Brigade in Colonnetta di Montopoli, securing a branch, then we set off again
The village is truly a gem, few souls but a lot of welcome and friendliness among both foreign tourists and natives
small stop for breakfast in the place where we booked for lunch, Osteria Vigna, a coffee, a homemade and still hot pastry and off we go through alleys, stairways and breathtaking views of the Sabina and its mountains, beautiful views and few memories, we can't to find the house that had hosted them so long ago
... not bad, it's almost lunch time and the sky is getting strange, our friend gets lost in the alleys, perhaps better said, he disappears, then an audio message, see you at the restaurant, it was already with your feet under the table, hahahaha!
We scroll through the menu and the wine list, Riesling Falkenstein from South Tyrol and a platter to nibble on while waiting for the first courses, accompanied by Mediterranean and rustic vegetable cheese cake and aubergine parmigiana, we are there to taste typical products and house specialities, therefore!
The cured meats are excellent and the choice of cheeses varied, the cheese cake is extravagantly intriguing and the rustic cake with chard and ricotta, sprinkled with pecorino, is very very good, the aubergine parmigiana is good, the entrée is tasty and preludes an excellent lunch, so after the first bottle of Riesling, the second courses are not long in coming, stringozzi all'arrabbiata for 2, stringozzi with leeks, pecorino and almonds, baked potatoes and Armando's sausages
I don't allow myself to taste the arrabbiata which they tell me is excellent, I trust them, but my stringozzi with leeks, pecorino and almonds are a riot of flavors and goodness, the pecorino makes them creamy and tasty and contrasts with the sweetness of the leeks and find the crunchy part in the almonds that balances the dish, delicious!
Our friend tastes Armando's sausages and baked potatoes and shares them with her husband, but I don't trust their opinion and I want to try them too together with the friggitelli peppers, well, the reviews read have found unanimous expression and judgment, they are truly exquisite, succulent and exceptional, the coarsely ground pepper makes them even tastier and the friggitelli are worthy travel companions, they are no different, a fantastic combination!
… no dessert, no, we are full, but at least let us tell them about it: strawberry mousse with cream, mango semifreddo and apple pie, all homemade
I can't resist and ask them to bring me the apple pie which I share, good-naturedly, with the others, really delicious, not the usual tart, a tender consistency, cinnamon flavored and with the crunch of walnuts for a praiseworthy bite
Then coffee, strictly bitter, after all we are on a diet!!!
An experience to repeat and share with other friends
We had a great time, impeccable service, enviable location and top food!!
…. you realize that the wickedness of some customers who review what they don't understand are just words in the wind and they do so with the sole purpose of misleading and complaining tout cour, but this is doing a disservice to the community of honest, direct and sincere Advisors !

My wife and I had been missing from Casperia for too many years, ever since the birth of our first child. For three years we had the privilege of living in a splendid house in the center of the town, and we promised ourselves several times to return to relive the unforgettable moments spent there. Finally, last Sunday, we decided to spend a day in Casperia with a couple of our dear friends. My friend, a fine taster, immediately insisted that I book a restaurant, convinced that I knew the best in the area. However, at the time I was staying here, there were very few restaurants, perhaps just a small tavern outside the town. So, trusting the online reviews, I chose "La Vigna", a restaurant that promised well, with excellent reviews and a splendid location within the walls of the village, with outdoor tables overlooking the valley.
We asked for an outdoor table, and the first positive note already arrived with the coffee we enjoyed upon our arrival, coming from the renowned Emilian roaster Kavè. After walking around the town, looking in vain for the house where we had lived, we headed towards the restaurant. We were welcomed by a lady with exquisite manners who immediately made us feel at ease. After examining the wine list, which I found well assorted, I chose a Riesling from South Tyrol, a wine that I couldn't miss.
The menu was taken care of down to the smallest detail, with proposals designed to enhance the local flavours. Before we started ordering, the lady offered us a taste of two olive oils, including a local cultivar: both simply amazing, a perfect start! We decided to try a platter of cold cuts and cheeses, to test the quality of the 0 km products: a good choice, since they were clearly local, with intense and persistent aromas and flavours.
Even though my friend and I were on a diet, we decided to treat ourselves to a "free meal", as recommended by my nutritionist. Thus, we tasted the stringozzi with leeks, pecorino and almonds, as well as those with tomato and basil. For the second courses, we let ourselves be tempted by the Armando sausages, prepared by the local butcher with a mixture of pork, spices and aromas that make them unique. Everything was accompanied by delicious parmigiana, baked potatoes and friggitelli, so tender that they melted in your mouth just looking at them.
The desserts, even if only described, looked delicious: strawberry mousse with cream, mango parfait and a soft and fluffy apple cake that my friend, giving in to temptation, ordered. To prevent him from exceeding his daily calories, we were happy to help him by all tasting the cake.
To conclude, a 5-grain Kavè coffee closed the meal in style. The bill? Irrelevant when you eat with complete satisfaction, enjoying high quality dishes and raw materials, and are welcomed with kindness and professionalism. Well done, we will definitely see each other again.

It is absolutely worth the stop while visiting the village.
We had lunch here for my birthday with the kids and the dog.
They thought of everything, even our furry friend.
The starters are delicious: courgette pie, cheesecake and platter, and the first courses are excellent.
Not least the desserts, rice and almond cake, a must try.
The view is wonderful and the staff are courteous and kind.
I recommend it!
The homemade pasta with goat gorgonzola is only for palates trained on strong flavours, it is delicious but very strong.

Nice and nice restaurant, with a fantastic view! Excellent, original and unique food. They also accepted a medium-sized dog for us.
Nice and courteous waitress and quiet environment.
