A former tavern, now an attentive and refined restaurant. Informal yet high-quality service in a truly refined setting. They offer traditional dishes prepared with refinement, all using truly excellent ingredients and meticulous attention to detail. The agnolotti are truly superb. Kudos to them for their attention to gluten intolerants. The only drawback is the "obligatory" two-course order. This is a must, given the modest portions, but I didn't like being forced to do so given the price penalty. It must be said that everything is clearly written, so I respect the company policy. But still... not to my taste. Otherwise, everything was superb.

Excellent traditional osteria in the Langhe. A very welcoming and refined atmosphere, extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff, and delicious and impeccably prepared food. Excellent selection of traditional Piedmontese dishes.

Today was my first time at Osteria Veglio, but it definitely won't be my last!
I had a wonderful time!
The atmosphere is modern yet incredibly welcoming; the staff is incredibly kind and knowledgeable, and last but not least, the food is fantastic!
We started with a small appetizer prepared by the chef, then I personally ordered the vitello tonnato, which was among the best I've ever eaten in Piedmont, and the plin pasta with roasted meat sauce, also among the best I've ever eaten.
We then concluded the meal with dessert, coffee, and a small dessert on the house.
My warmest compliments, truly!!!
I will definitely recommend it to many!
