I don't usually leave negative reviews, and I won't this time either. But I was disappointed to be turned down after booking a week in advance and coming from Lecce. I'm still leaving 5 stars because I don't want a staff member's mistake to damage the restaurant's rating. But be more careful next time. Not everyone is as understanding as I am.

It's hard to get a table, but it's worth reserving in advance. The vitello tonato is beautifully served, the venison roast beef is fantastic, and the coffee meringues are phenomenal. The wine—obviously, we're in the Langhe.

Lunchtime on a sunny Wednesday in September. The osteria is located in the beautiful hills of the village of La Morra. The restaurant was packed, with many foreign tourists. We had lunch on the terrace. The traditional local dishes were beautifully presented and generously portioned. The service was professional and modern. Everyone was truly friendly. Perfect timing. I recommend booking ahead!

It's definitely touristy, so if you're just looking for a quick plate of tajarin, it's definitely not the right place. Otherwise, everything was excellent: the food, the service, and the ambiance. The two-course rule, perhaps, is unnecessary and could have been better thought out.
