A true Venetian tavern. One of the few still in existence.

A historic Merlengo tavern, time stood still here 50 years ago, and that's no small thing. You can slow down from the hustle and bustle of life and savor cicchetti and dishes prepared the way they once were, at a leisurely pace. When I'm in the area, I always find half an hour to say hello to the owners and enjoy an ombra (glass of wine) and two fish spunciotti (snacks).
