We had a great time. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, even though they were very young. They were great people. The food was excellent, the wine list was wonderful, and the prices were fair! Really fair! What more could you ask for? Thank you!

Kindness and courtesy: the two characteristics that struck me about this place from the first phone call. Friendly and helpful, Lugo is very clean and well-kept, with simple yet elegant decor. Decent menu, not many dishes, ranging from seafood to fish with plenty of mixes. We ordered two first courses and one second course; the prices are a bit high, in my opinion, and should be adjusted. Excellent wine selection. Nearby parking available.

Word of mouth is better than any online review. Thanks to the friend who recommended this little osteria just minutes from San Vito al Tagliamento. Delicious menu and wines by the glass from excellent wineries. Truly excellent dinner. Very kind and friendly service. The entrée, a glass of Ribolla and two slices of panettone, were a real treat. Two beautiful and delicious appetizers: Ovoledo potatoes stuffed with cheese and San Daniele trout, ricotta and radicchio flan with Puzzone di Moena fondue. Delicious frico (they've won several awards) and wild boar goulash. Panna cotta with dark figs. Two glasses each of excellent Friulian wines and a quart of house red. I'll let the photos speak for themselves; they express themselves better than any words. The bill was very fair. Just over €40 per person for an incredible pre-Christmas dinner. Well done, well done, well done.

Dinner with family; we were delighted with the quality of the food, the attention to detail, and the kind and helpful staff. The food is truly high quality and the value for money is fair (average €40 per person). In the photo, I show the buffalo ricotta flan from the Aviano dairy, late radicchio, and fondue. Special mention goes to the Aviano dairy for its high-quality products. Then, the Ovoledo potato stuffed with donkey cheese and trout was spectacular. The potato with cheese is enveloped in the sweet flavor of the trout. An exceptional combination of flavors. Finally, the sauc with brovada and crushed potato with rosemary was a lovely discovery and a very generous portion, I must say. We also had the salmon trout meatballs and the strudel, but I don't have a photo. The salmon trout meatballs were a bit small for one person, but they were good; while I really enjoyed the strudel. We also had a wine, a young Merlot, good and pleasant. I highly recommend going there, and I can't wait to go back. They select quality products and treat their customers well.

24/02/2026: We were recommended by acquaintances for dinner. What can I say? The food was divine. Everything was special. Congratulations. We'll definitely be back.
24/02/2026: Today I waited 45/50 minutes for a mixed grill, but in the end the wait was fine, the meat was well cooked and the service was good. The only thing that I'm not very interested in, besides the preparation and presentation of the food, is the care of the building and the garden, which could benefit from a little more attention, considering that it is seen as the face of the place.

23/01/2026: I would call La Stella a comfort restaurant... a place where you feel good. The food is high-quality, and the dishes are the kind that will bring back long-faded memories. First, you'll find a platter of salami waiting for you. You'll also find good old-fashioned cuisine, featuring excellent tripe, flavorful snails, and first courses prepared to perfection. My partner Antonella and I wanted to try their fantastic risotto for our first course, where pepper, cheese, and pears are perfectly balanced. We also enjoyed a taste of snails and their amazing rabbit in tecia!!! The service is precise and attentive, with cutlery changed after every dish... and when Regis lists the menu, it's like being at the theater 😂. The interior of the restaurant is worth exploring, corner by corner, noticing the details. The lit fireplace completes a splendid picture, and Regis and his staff do the rest. Oh, if Regis, while listing the menu, tells you that the rabbit was shot in the countryside of Toppo and Travesio and that the pigeon used in the sauce comes from the bell tower of Meduno...it could all be true. We'll see you again! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!
