Osteria Tosca In Lucca

February 14, 2026 My companion and I, tourists in Lucca, were looking for a place to celebrate Valentine's Day and happened upon this very charming restaurant. Luckily, there were two seats available, and we were able to enjoy an excellent dinner. The service was impeccable; everything exceeded our expectations. Congratulations. We hope we'll have the opportunity to return.

Small, centrally located restaurant, not too noisy, but tastefully decorated. Excellent traditional Lucca dishes, but also a selection of other options. Reservations recommended.

On Saturday we stopped and enjoyed some excellent tordelli with ragù. The dessert was exquisite: Buccellato with vanilla ice cream. We'll definitely be back.

We went to Osteria Tosca and overall had a really good meal: the dishes were tasty and well-prepared. The tordelli were delicious, and the beef fillets, accompanied by excellent baked potatoes, were thoroughly enjoyed by everyone at the table. Unfortunately, the wait was a bit long: we had to wait about 30 minutes at the table before we could order, and there was also some confusion with the service, with the main courses arriving before the main courses. We were asked for dessert before the main courses were served. It must be said, however, that the quality of the food made up for our patience. Overall, we recommend Osteria Tosca to anyone who wants to experience authentic Tuscan cuisine, knowing that there may be a wait, but with the guarantee of good food.

Warm welcome, attentive and friendly staff... simple, tasty dishes. On a day when chaos reigns supreme with the "Lucca Comics" festival, finding such a welcoming and well-organized place is a real pleasure. I'll gladly return.

A restaurant in Lucca in a beautiful square, found by chance on a Sunday lunch. The food is truly excellent, including the spectacular cod with leeks and potatoes, the fried special, excellent first courses, and excellent prices and service. We've been there three times already. The interior is small but charming, and in the warmer months you can also eat outside. Everything is excellent. Its refined simplicity makes it a truly recommended place. P.S. I recommend making a reservation.

After walking the walls and exploring the delights of this beautiful piece of Italy we had the most delightful meal! Beautiful bruschetta followed by fresh pasta! Staff were incredibly attentive and served the most gorgeous food! Don’t miss it!!

We visited two years ago and returned this week. The food is even better and the service is very attentive and friendly. It is definitely a notch above most piazza cafes, both the menu and the quality of the cooking.
