We visited two years ago and returned this week. The food is even better and the service is very attentive and friendly. It is definitely a notch above most piazza cafes, both the menu and the quality of the cooking.

What a great discovery! We had dinner here a couple of weeks ago and it was a great decision!!! Excellent food, highly recommended the tagliolini with amberjack and the off-menu dish, a perfectly cooked picanha, was delicious! The service was always attentive and courteous! We relied on the head waiter to help us choose the wine and that was perfect too! What can I say, we'll definitely be back! Well done!

I went to Tosca for the first time last night with a friend, and we were both very satisfied.
I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to spend some quality time enjoying excellent food and sipping local wines in one of the city's most picturesque squares!
The restaurant and menu are meticulously designed, the service attentive and never intrusive... the food is excellent!
The quality/price ratio is also excellent.
I'm really curious to see the September menu!

A few nights ago I had dinner at this restaurant in the center of Lucca. I ordered fried fish with fried vegetables. The portion was normal. The problem was that most of the fried food on the plate was vegetables (zucchini, carrots, eggplant, etc.), while the fish consisted of a prawn, two shrimp, and little else. I strongly advise against this dish, or ask for ONLY fried fish!

I had dinner with my partner and we had a truly wonderful time! The service was always quick, attentive, and very friendly. The dishes were all excellent; we even swapped courses to try both meat and fish, and we were both pleasantly surprised! Everything was delicious and the portions were generous! The waiter even recommended a wine to pair with the dishes, which turned out to be a perfect choice. The bill was more than fair for the quality. We'll definitely be back; highly recommended!

Situado en la plaza de la ciudadela de Lucca, el Tosca ocupa un lugar destacado. Pedimos parmigiana y carbonara y cada plato fue disfrutado inmensamente. Las bebidas también eran excelentes y la calidad de la comida era igualada por la excelencia del clima. Lucca es un lugar especial y seleccionamos una parada de almuerzo de primera clase.

Muy buen lugar en la hermosa Piazza Cittadella en el centro de Lucca. A mediados de abril de 2025 hacía suficiente calor para sentarse fuera en la plaza y disfrutar de la vista, incluida la estatua de Puccini. Disfrutamos de su cordero y spaghetti boloñesa y vino de la casa local, a un precio razonable. Servicio amable. 85€ para dos.
