Those who enjoy secluded spots with splendid lake views and aren't afraid of driving on narrow, winding mountain roads will definitely enjoy this place. The breakfast is fabulous, and could easily double as lunch. The owners are friendly and courteous. Recommended.

My partner and I stayed one night and received a wonderful welcome. We had dinner there in the evening, with homemade cuisine, albeit limited in choice, but of high quality. A breathtaking setting overlooking the mountains and the lake. A very generous breakfast, very attentive staff. The room corresponds to the description. Even though we didn't have a balcony, the owner arranged a terrace area so we could also have a beautiful view. A complete change of scenery. We were traveling around the lake on a motorcycle. I recommend this establishment.

Access with views and a winding mountain road. Dinner served perfectly, tasty, atmospheric, with very nice company. Breakfast delicious, huge quantity and variety, Mega lot of homemade delicacies. I recommend the owners, they are great and friendly 😊😊

If you like mountain passes, this is the place for you! The access is, as described in other reviews, a bit of an adventure. But it's easily manageable. In return, you'll be treated to a magnificent view, super-friendly hosts, and delicious food. We and our dog received a very friendly welcome, everything was explained to us, and then we were shown to the room, which was more like a one-room apartment. There was a small kitchen with everything you could need. The bathroom had everything you needed, starting with soap, shower gel, hairdryer, and, of course, towels. In the evening, you can eat something in the bar; the kitchen is open until 9 p.m. A plentiful breakfast is served starting at 8 a.m. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely stay here again! :)

A very, very beautiful hotel with incredible charm. Phenomenal views of Lake Como and the magnificent sunsets behind the mountains are perfect for enjoying. However, you'll have to expect a 12-minute drive from the valley up the mountain through narrow streets. But the journey is well worth it! Homemade breakfast and a fantastic dinner. Very attentive service, which also doubles as a valuable tourist information point ;) Great rooms with a refrigerator and a comfortable bed. Also completely pet-friendly, so feel free to bring your dog :) Highly recommended and we'd gladly return

Excellent hotel with a beautiful view and very friendly staff. The hotel is located high up on a mountain, which has its pros and cons – the beautiful view but with a slightly challenging driving up & down the mountain. The breakfast was great and of high quality. Very interesting design of the hotel rooms along the hillside with doors on the outside. Felt great staying here! Big recommendation!

07/12/2025: I can't rate the restaurant because it was closed. The place is beautiful from the outside. I passed by on one of my bike rides after a good snowfall. The landscape is surreal and wonderful. At Sighignola there is also a ski lift which, in the months with good snowfall, is also great for having fun with the kids, skiing and private lessons. Highly recommended, but not very big.
21/11/2025: We arrived at noon after visiting the Balcony of Italy, three minutes up the road. Beautiful location, just what you'd expect from a mountain hut: plenty of parking and plenty of seating. A warm welcome and simple, polite, and attentive service. I've seen better photos of the dishes I was served. The fried porcini mushrooms weren't great in my case, but still good and not overly greasy. Pizzoccheri were amazing, truly expertly made. The pappardelle with wild boar ragù was a little less so... the pasta was very well cooked, but the ragù was a little bland and lacking, especially compared to some photos I've seen in other reviews. A quart of red wine on tap was good, along with water, coffee, and a shared tiramisu. The cream was very good, and the ladyfingers were barely soaked in the coffee, much to my wife's delight, but not so much mine 😁 All for €46. The price of the individual dishes is a bit high in my opinion, but they're the only ones there, so I'd say they were fair compared to what they could have done. Next time we'll definitely make sure to visit the Balcony of Italy again around noon 😋

11/01/2026: I had lunch at this historic trattoria in Brianza, which serves traditional local dishes. I tried the risotto alla Milanese with veal cheek, which was excellent, with incredibly tender meat that melted in your mouth—something even the Michelin-starred restaurant where we dined didn't have. My wife instead chose their cassoeula, which she loved for its abundance and perfect balance of flavors. I highly recommend this place: try it and believe it.
10/01/2026: I went back for lunch today. The cassoula was really good. A top 10 for everything.
