Posizione centralissima vicino al teatro, ma in una tranquilla stradina laterale. Accoglienza calorosa. Abbiamo il cane e ci assegnano un tavolino perfetto in un angolino tranquillo. La scelta dei piatti è ampia ma non eccessiva (sospetto sempre dei menù infiniti). Trazione e contemporaneo. Servizio rapido. Cibo squisito e di qualità. Porzioni abbondanti. Camerieri professionali e simpatici. Tutto perfetto per sentirsi a proprio agio e coccolati. Super consigliato. Prezzo davvero ottimo

This little restaurant was a lucky find. When you are on vacation, and have eaten out for most of it, sometime all you want is a good home cooked meal. Osteria Tacabanda is the place you can go to for just that kind of meal. They have great food, an exceptional wine list and super service. We highly recommend checking out this great restaurant.

A typical Piedmontese restaurant with traditional cuisine.
We were the only tourists in the basement, otherwise only Italians, air-conditioned, which is not a disadvantage in summer.
The wine selection is fantastic with around 200 wines, with very reasonable prices.
The food was very good and the fillet of Piedmont Fassano beef was a dream. The medium rare cooking level was perfectly implemented.
Rustic but attractive furnishings, service very quick.
We'd love to come back.

Located in the alley that runs alongside the Alfieri theater, under the shelter of large umbrellas, you can relax and enjoy good traditional and non-traditional dishes. The tranquility of the place and the service provided by the staff will allow you to eat well and not have to move away from the beating heart of Asti. The prices are normal and the quality is good. Try it.

Original Piedmontese cuisine. In the heat in the basement with an incredibly large wine rack. Wine list gigantic and written by hand. Food very tasty. Service top!

Good restaurant, for a down to earth dinner with local food for a good price.
Interesting idea the tagliolini with salty truffle ice cream, don't expect anything Gourmet or fancy but rather a good traditional "osteria" dish.
Very tender horse meat, the wine sauce could have been improved a bit (a bit too liquid and not super strong in taste) but was good.
Overall a good trattoria/osteria experience

Everything was excellent, especially the raw Monferrina meat and the grilled Fassona which melted in your mouth! The owner also gave us a final discount. Excellent value for money. We will be back.
