Osteria St. Ana In Roma

I recently visited this lovely restaurant in Rome while traveling solo. The crème brûlée was absolutely amazing! I wanted to capture a photo of it with the fire, but it had gone out. Luckily, I think the person’s name was Laki (or Landi , I might not be remembering it correctly), but he was incredibly kind and and brought me another crème brûlée with the fire just so I could get the perfect photo. The service was exceptional, and I truly appreciated the warm hospitality. I’m giving 5 stars because of Laki’s help. Highly recommend this place!

The food was delicious plus the appropriate atmosphere...recommended!

Very good dishes, but big disappointment for the dessert. I ordered a semifreddo, and I received a very very alcoholic dessert (the ice cream was entirely soaked in alcohol) even though this was not specified on the menu. A lot of Americans feel like a bit of a tourist trap. Quite surprising, given that this restaurant was recommended to us at the hotel.

By far our favorite restaurant from our trip to Rome. The food was just fantastic. We went to a lot of places during our trip, and this is the one we were sad about not making it to a second time. Their carbonara was amazing (it would be my all time favorite, if it just had some more crispy guanciale on top). Highly recommend this place!
