The fried gnocchi were excellent with the cured meats... The main courses were well-made, both from the grill and the stews, tender and succulent, and beautifully paired... The pizza by the slice was incredibly crispy on the bottom and soft in the center, with flavorful ingredients. Everything was excellent, so it was reasonably priced. We'll be back again and again.

We moved to the area a couple of months ago. On our first Friday of the move, tired and hungry, we dropped by SPQ - fairly late. We asked if they were still serving and a very kind waiter who spoke perfect English (because our Italian is terrible) looked in the kitchen and then said “certo!” As we were sitting down, we saw that they were stacking chairs in the back of the restaurant. Despite that it was clear they were getting ready to close, our waiter gave us the best service, joked around with us, and made excellent suggestions. Our starting plate of taglieri and gnocco fritto was the most amazing dish for a tired and hungry family. The lardo on top of the warm gnocco fritto- it just melts and wow! My son ordered the baby ribs and loved it. IT's the only thing he orders now when we go. The pastas? Perfetto every time.
What also keeps me returning besides the delicious food, is the service. I was so impressed the first time at how welcoming the staff was even though it was so late. We’ve had the same waiter every other time too and he’s patient and lets us practice our terrible Italian. Grazie!
SPQ is our favorite restaurant in the neighborhood and our go to spot for a great meal.

Excellent pizza by the slice, I have always taken the amazing take-away pizza, large and good portions (the large one is 1/4 of a pan) average prices but still worth it, the place inside seems nice and welcoming and the staff is always welcoming! I found the menu complete for those who don't want pizza!

A welcoming place that still takes care of the relationship with the customer. Finally you can talk to the person serving you at the table. The boy who served us was friendly and professional, providing us with explanations and advice. Quality dishes also taken care of in the presentation. Even though it was Saturday there were a lot of people but not an exaggerated confusion. It was the first time and I think we will return soon

Excellent value for money. Then it's a matter of taste.
Excellent cutting board and gnocco. A little less the risotto with ossobuco which lacks the cremolata. The cotoletta alla milanese is excellent as meat but, for my taste, fried and not cooked in butter at low temperature as the real Milanese should be. Good and fast service proposed with kindness.

Locale consigliato da amici e mai scelta fu più azzeccata. Ambiente pulito, personale gentile e disponibile ad accogliere le richieste dei clienti, cibi deliziosi compresi gli affettati di alta qualità. C'è anche la possibilità di acquistare un olio artigianale siciliano, veramente molto buono. Consigliatissimo..
