The atmosphere is super cute, authentic and not touristy. The waitresses were very friendly and helpful. You can sit at a table with other people; they don't take reservations, so you just show up and sit wherever there's room. We really appreciated this. The food is very good, with a wide selection of wines. I highly recommend it!

A typical Verona osteria located in the wonderful setting of Sottoriva. We ate lunch outside, enjoying the delicious cuisine (the traditional dishes are a must-try) and the wonderful atmosphere.

Kindness and friendliness are the hallmarks of the place. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable while we waited for a table. The polenta with horse meat was very good, as were the cold cuts and cheeses. Only the wine wasn't exceptional. Overall, a truly beautiful and quaint osteria. Reservations are not accepted.

First of all, NOT a restaurant! It's a real Osteria with an array of cheese, meats and chicken wings on offer. The wines are very good value, and the service is very attentive. You're guaranteed a warm welcome and the atmosphere is lovely. Hidden away from the hoardes, is well worth seeking out. Enjoy. M

19/10/2025: A wonderful experience where we had lunch on the balcony overlooking Piazza delle Erbe. As a true delicatessen owner, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and presentation. My compliments to the staff! Simone
18/10/2025: When we are in Verona, we always visit. Unfortunately, this time we were a little bit disappointed. They claim to open at 11, but we were told to leave since they had to clean, and then we watched the staff mop the whole floor with the same mop, not washing it in water even once. Even during our meal, the staff behaved weirdly and always came in pairs. The food also wasn't as good, especially for the price; the portion of cured/dried meat was small. We took the gourmet board for two people. We would reconsider if we come on our next visit. The atmosphere of the shop is good, very cute place.
