We visited Verona for a school camp trip, and we visited Piazza delle Erbe. In my opinion, this square is amazing and particular. You can buy detailed souvenirs (be aware that some of the souvenirs are fragile) of Verona in small shops there, most of which feature major monuments in the city like the arena and the Juliet statue. The giant clock there resembles a massive part of history and time. However, sometimes, food sold there can be tricky to carry before and while eating; for example, a dessert of a cup of chocolate with strawberry and some “panna” sold in one of the ends of the shop area, while tasty, can usually be sticky, especially "panna." But overall, it was a fun square to visit, especially in the late afternoon.

Verona's beautiful square, a must-see during your visit to the city. There's a bit of everything for sale at the stalls. Don't miss the fossilized rib of a whale hanging high at the beginning of Via Costa, under the arch of the same name. Worth a visit is Palazzo Maffei, at the end of the square, which houses a museum.
