The square is always bustling. In the morning, it's filled with a market selling a wide variety of products, and in the evening, people fill the terraces of the establishments that line the square.

Absolutely beautiful piazza unfortunately from my perspective ruined somewhat by the inclusion of multiple "markets" or souvenir shops that spread from one end to the other over certain times. Not sure how often they are open so difficult to comment further. I believe the markets ruin the atmosphere and ambience of such a grand piazza. Difficult to even get a decent photo when the markets are open. The markets should be kept to a minimum.

Traveling with your wife, you can't avoid visiting shops. I waited for her in that plaza and really liked the flow of people there.

07/06/2025: We went on a Friday, as soon as it opened and were surprised by the place: unique decor, excellent beer and the cold cuts platter...yum! Delicious! I recommend it!
