here is what i would suggest
come here 20 mins before its opens because at some point when we srrived at 7:37 we had to wait till 8:39pm , an hour to get table inside. Outside is okay.
Gnocchi was super nice the first time. I dont know bcs of the rush the second time it tasted different and somehow wasn't just the same.
Taglietelle al ragu is big, nice option. I would say Lasagna good be nice. The food comes out fast so thats good after waiting in line for so long

Place discovered by chance at the end of the 90s... very pleasant surprise! Since then when I pass through Florence I book a table well in advance and strictly inside even if it is summer, I think I have sent over 200 people in recent years and everyone has been satisfied, the last ones sent for the long weekend of May 1st... very happy! Remember to book if you don't want to miss an opportunity to eat and drink well and above all genuine and characteristic.

Decent Osteria with nice outdoor dining. The gnocchi is slightly overrated, in my opinion. It's very nice the first few bites, but ends up being a bit monotonous. Would recommend getting that as a half portion instead. Trippa was very good! Huge chunks in a rich tomato sauce. Also, it wasn't too oily, and the tripe still had a satisfying chew to it.
They didn't have my table ready for my reservation, but offered me a drink whilst I waited. I said that it's not necessary as I didn't mind waiting a bit. They actually knocked off a bit from the bill, which I thought was a really nice and professional gesture by them.
Queues can get really long here, so email beforehand to secure a table!

The place not to be missed!
We went there in February 2024 and were looking forward to our next trip to return. It’s a treat, whether it’s the food, the service, the place, it’s 10/10

If you love the real Florence, stop here. The atmosphere is typical, the food excellent and the staff delightful.

Pranzo di famiglia in questo localino tradizionale che, premetto non prende prenotazioni.
Abbiamo aspettato 15 minuti fuori, ma poi li ho perdonati subito dopo!
Antipasti con crostini ai fegatini, salumi e formaggi, tutto di qualità.
Un rosso di toscana molto buono e per me, una trippa alla fiorentina da sballo...e personale attento e gentile.
Lo consiglio assolutamente.
