Osteria Santo Spirito In Firenze

I’d give more like a 3.5. I liked how hot the food was and that you can get reduced portions (although the reduction in size is greater than the reduction in price, but the price is still fair) especially as a solo traveler who wanted to get multiple things. But for me, the gnocchi was a bit too mushy/soft and very very rich, and the salted cod was right on the border of too salty—a full portion of either would have been unpleasant to finish. Both dishes pictured are the reduced portions. I also got the tiramisu, which was yummy but nothing particularly special—I felt the cream dominated and there was barely any cake or coffee to balance it. I arrived 9 minutes before opening on a Monday in March and was the second group in line. Note, that several items (probably around 7, including the duck, clams, and mussels) were sold out (presumably during lunch), so it might be better to go earlier in the day if you’re set on trying something particular

We had mussels for appetiser and The gnocchi and lasagna for main. They were all fantastic. Great service too.

Amazing restaurant, lovely staff, big portions with possibility of taking smaller ones, prices are really good. The tiramisu was amazing.

Osteria in Piazza Santo Spirito, simple and good dishes. Friendly staff. They don't take reservations for lunch (I don't know if they do for dinner), but if you're passing by and it's a nice sunny day, make the most of it.

We ordered the truffle-flavored gratin gnocchi, we've never eaten anything like it, excellent.

Everything was delicious . It's a pity I discovered this place on my last day, I would definitely go another day to try something else :)

The restaurant opened promptly at 7:30 PM, but if you want to get a table without waiting in line, you have to arrive earlier. I arrived at 7:20 PM and there was already a line, so I had to sit outside and was quite cold because they don't have any heating system to provide more comfort. The truffle gnocchi was wonderful and nice and hot. The meat was a bit cold inside and had a very large bone. We got an 800g piece to share between 2, it was okay, but it wasn't much meat. The waitress who served me wasn't very friendly, but the service was fast.
