An exceptional discovery. What you truly hope to find in Salento: quality, warm hospitality, refinement, and authentic flavors, fresh fish, far removed from the mass tourism experience. Extraordinary raw seafood, wonderful cooked appetizers, and a special offer for squid with caramelized onions. First courses are top-notch, and the Gallipoli-style swordfish is a must-try. Which is exactly what we did. I don't think it's possible to do better.

A restaurant in the historic center, with both indoor and outdoor tables. The atmosphere is pleasant; after a short wait, even without a reservation, they seated us. The service is fast, professional, and very friendly. The restaurant and its clientele are impeccably managed. The fried fish is truly delicious, as is the Gallipoli-style cuttlefish. The change of wine after tasting was much appreciated. Recommended!

We ate really well, the service was fast, the location was nice and convenient in the historic center of Gallipoli, and above all the prices were very fair. I recommend it to anyone who is out and about and doesn't want to risk falling into the clutches of some "tourist trap" place.

I enjoyed all 3 meals I ate here during my stay in Gallipoli, especially my dinner last night. The sea bass I had as my main was prepared with lots of lemon and cooked just right. A big thank you to the congenial waiter (I forgot to ask his name) who served me each time. An added plus: this osteria is in a quiet area a bit away from the busy street that crosses the old town.

We stopped by here, half-desperately looking for pizza for our son and good fish for ourselves. The owner said no problem—he'd get pizza for our son, and we could have fish. Excellent service—we thoroughly enjoyed the evening. The food was incredibly delicious, and the service was second to none.

En una calor tranquila però cerca de la catedral. Comida casera y pescado fresquísimo. Las gambas crudas eran excelentes y la pasta muy rica también. Muy buen servicio. Precio correcto

Ci siamo ritrovati dopo una passeggiata nel borgo di Gallipoli,per festeggiare l'anniversario; locale molto pulito e curato, siamo entrati. Ottimo arredamento, rifinito e di ottima posizione. Cucina molto buona con piatti di pesce particolari e gustosi. Il propietario molto cordiale e gentile ci ha accolto e fatti sentire a casa. Personale formato e gentile. Consiglio vivamente, ne vale la pena

20/07/2025: We had a wonderful time at Ristorante Antichi Sapori in Torre Vado. The restaurant may not look like much from the outside, but once seated, you'll enjoy a friendly and authentic atmosphere that truly reflects the generous cuisine. The welcome was warm and the service very pleasant throughout the meal. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and high-quality, perfectly complemented by the simple yet flavorful cuisine. We started with a lovely mixed appetizer platter and octopus carpaccio, accompanied by chilled Aperols, perfect for whetting the appetite. For the main course, the grilled calamari was tender and well-seasoned, and the light and crispy fried seafood was a real treat. All accompanied by a bottle of local rosé at a very reasonable price. A lovely, authentic spot, highly recommended if you're in the area!

02/07/2025: Suggestive location overlooking the sea. Good food, we especially appreciated the macaroni with tuna, capers and olives, and professional service... Must try.
02/07/2025: Magnificent place above the water, spectacular sea view at sunset! We had the white crostini as an appetizer, delicious especially the ones with raw shrimp. As a first course, orecchiette with turnip tops and stracciatella, a must try! And finally, mixed fried fish and seafood, everything was delicious. Even the spumone with figs was very good. A wonderful place and kind and friendly staff, congratulations!
