Highly recommended!
The food is excellent, made with fresh ingredients based on typical Apulian seaside Italian cuisine. The waiter was extremely kind, helpful, and discreet.
Everything was fresh, and the experience was more than perfect.

Osteria Sant’Angelo – Gallipoli, Italy
What a wonderful find! Tucked in the narrow streets of Gallipoli’s old town, Osteria Sant’Angelo turned out to be one of the best meals of my trip. The setting is charming — stone walls, soft lighting, and that unmistakable southern Italian warmth that makes you feel instantly at home.
I started with a seafood appetizer that was as fresh as it gets, followed by homemade pasta that tasted like it came straight from a family kitchen. Everything was simple, honest, and full of flavor — exactly what good Italian cooking should be.
The staff were fantastic: friendly, attentive, and genuinely proud of what they serve. They recommended a local white wine that paired perfectly with the meal. Dessert — a classic tiramisù — was the perfect finish.
If you’re in Gallipoli and want a true taste of Puglia, don’t miss this place. Osteria Sant’Angelo isn’t just a restaurant — it’s an experience that captures the heart of Italy: good food, good wine, and good people.

A delightful place in the heart of the old city where we celebrated my firstborn's eighteenth birthday. Fresh fish, cooked with care and refinement. New and sophisticated dishes. Attentive and friendly staff.
Completely satisfied, I thank the owner and all his staff.

At first, we were a little hesitant because the restaurant was completely empty. But the restaurant quickly filled up. We had the mussels for starters, the tagliatelle with seafood and truffles, and the rabioli with seafood for our first course. We then had the baked swordfish (Gallipoli style) and a mixed salad. For dessert, we enjoyed spumone. The fresh tagliatelle is especially recommended. We highly recommend the rest of the dishes, too!

One of the best restaurants I've ever eaten at. We returned the next day for more and it was even better. The quality of the ingredients, the delicate preparation, and the friendliness of the staff make for a delightful dinner experience. Excellent!
