A spartan and poorly maintained place, typical of the area. The food is decent; the beef stew is tasty, but the Cima is much less so. Decent service.

Lunch with the family, good and plentiful appetizers, cured meats and cheeses with honey and sgabei. It's a shame the first courses were too salty. The tiramisu, panna cotta, and biscotti were good.

Excellent pasta and house wine. Lovely and warm. The wait staff was understanding of our poor Italian. We didn't feel rushed. We will return.

We stopped on the way to Parma. It was busy, but they found room for us with no reservation. My wife’s pasta was new to us, but delicious and my tagliatelle with porcini was also very flavorful. We had a carafe of house red and stayed for dessert. Despite us knowing very little Italian the staff were helpful and service prompt.

11/12/2025: Close your eyes, listen to the clacking of glasses, listen to the voices of the diners delicately conversing, smell the fruity wine in your glass, smell the authentically cooked fish. Open your eyes, you're at the peniche, where taste meets harmony and every dish becomes a masterpiece of flavor and exaltation. Speechless, try it to believe it.
09/12/2025: Excellent customer service and the food is just beautiful. Wonderful friendly and accommodating staff, will be back on our next visit for sure.
