Amazing restaurant with a beautiful view of lake Trasimeno. Very friendly and nice service, and the pasta was out of this world!

Exquisite dinner! Delicious, refined, and original dishes, affordable prices. Friendly staff, very pleasant atmosphere, and... red in the evening!

The restaurant is beautiful, tastefully decorated, and offers a truly picturesque view of the lake. The menu features both land and sea dishes, and a few lake dishes (honestly, I expected a few more). The lake appetizer was good, but lacking in flavor; the grilled trout was excellent, delicate and flavorful, although I expected the whole trout and not just half (though the quantity was sufficient; let's just say the menu deceived me). The ravioli stuffed with pike and pesto alla trapanese was disappointing (for my taste): the ravioli itself was good, but completely overpowered by the overpowering flavor of the pesto. The dessert was good. The wine list was very interesting; I would have liked more information on the wines by the glass; since I was alone, I couldn't afford to buy a bottle. The service was poor, perhaps due to the restaurant being full; the long wait between courses and a bit of confusion with the dishes. Definitely the thing that most detracted from the meal.

Excellent food, poor atmosphere and service

A wonderful evening of dinner at this lakeside gem, featuring an excellent fish and chips appetizer and exquisitely flavorful cheese supplì. We continued with a tegamaccio del Trasimeno and chitarrini with anchovy butter, lemon, and bottarga. The latter, ordered by me, had a refined and elegant flavor and fully met my expectations. We finished with a delicious and creamy tiramisu. If you're craving wine, I recommend ordering one of the bottles on offer. The staff were friendly and open to questions, and the location was perfect and romantic. Perhaps the time of day prevented us from enjoying the best view, which would be perfect in the early evening.

Excellent dinner with original and tasty dishes.

Ogni volta che soggiorno al lago Trasimeno, non posso non recarmi a cena all’osteria Rosso di Sera in San Feliciano (PG). L’ho già magnificata in una precedente recensione di un paio d’anno fa e lo rifaccio ora. Avere in contemporanea il sole che tramonta sul lago, Andrea e Christian sorridenti e affabili che ti servono vivande ben confezionate, ben accostate e ben presentate, non è da tutti i locali. E’un po’ come ricorrere all’algoritmo di Joshka-Fischer, quello che consente di vedere al computer, tra l’altro, le due facce di una moneta con un’unica operazione. Però (nella vita s’incontra sempre questa congiunzione avversativa), secondo la retorica, che, purtroppo, non s’insegna più a scuola, dopo l’exordium arriva la refutatio, bonaria, sia chiaro. Una limatina al conto porterebbe alla perfezione. Bravi comunque. Alfredo da Bologna.

Ci siamo fermati venerdì scorso a mangiare in questo carinissimo posto.... servizio molto veloce ; abbiamo preso due chitarrine con bottarga ottime, un tegamaccio , due trote alla brace squisite ..personale in sala gentilissimo che ci ha consigliato un vino della zona ottimo e ci ha veramente conquistati. Eravamo in tre .. due primi , tre secondi , un contorno, un dolce, due amari, una bottiglia di vino e acqua abbiamo speso 113 euro.
