Gastronomy-tavern in the heart of Turin. Also open for lunch. Very refined typical Piedmontese cuisine with a couple of fish alternatives. The only flaw is that the prices are more restaurant-like than tavern-style.

We chose this place for New Year's Eve dinner on the advice of a friend who lives in Turin. Historic venue, with large room in the basement. Rustic and simple atmosphere. Fast service. Friendly and smiling waiters. I must say that we only enjoyed some courses (sea bass tartare and dessert). The thing that disappointed us was that they assigned us to a table with high bar stools without backs, at the end of the evening everyone with back pain, while the other tables had normal chairs. If you want to increase the number of seats for New Year's Eve, you have to worry about getting all the necessary chairs. Positive note for the band that played, they were really very good.

There were two of us for lunch thanks to a smartbox. Very characteristic place, very kind and super friendly staff. We ate a tasting of local products (cheeses, cured meats etc.) with a glass of wine, all plentiful and excellent!!!! It also has a la carte menu! I highly recommend!!!!

Excellent restaurant serving typical Piedmontese cuisine. They refer to the Monferrato tradition. Try the veal with tuna sauce and the braised meat. Good choice of wines. The venue is in a very large basement which creates a pleasantly furnished open space. Courteous service. Not exactly cheap.

Beautiful tavern, very polite waiters, a place that immerses you in the past with photos of times gone by. I ate very well.
It would have been five stars (in our experience) if only the staff director at the entrance had been a little more, let's say, welcoming.

We were with a group of friends last night at the tavern at Bagna Cauda Day... the expectations were very high because someone had already been there years ago... but unfortunately we stumbled upon a bad evening because there was NO TRACE in Bagna Cauda OF ANCHOVIES thus resulting in a disappointing garlic cream... Even though we pointed this out to the waitresses, who were nothing short of fabulous in terms of friendliness and service, nothing has changed in the kitchen...
even the bill for what we ate and drank relatively little was really too exaggerated and taking away €1 per person at the checkout (there were 8 of us) just seemed like a further mockery to us.
I'm sorry for this long-awaited evening, in a very beautiful place but which unfortunately sinned big on the traditionality of the dish for which we came. Very sorry. Greetings

Order tartar and vitello tonato, it's very tasty! Everything we ordered was delicious. There wasn't enough music in the hall, maybe that was the idea.
