Quality, kindness and nice atmosphere. Too bad the prices are excessive to say the least.

A pleasant experience! The restaurant is located in front of Ancona station, it is small but welcoming and cheered up by a nice minimalist decor. Near the tables there are useful USB sockets for charging phones. I was received cordially by Mrs. Simona, owner and maître, assisted by chef Mirko. Simona manages the room excellently, the service is quick and courteous. Large menu of meat and fish, with specialties from the Marche (such as vincisgrassi) and Ancona (stockfish, the main dish of Dorica). I chose the unmissable "padellaccia" of fish, a triumph of paccheri, with excellent sauce, the classic "scarpetta" is a must. Definitely worth trying, when I return, are the paccheri with stockfish sauce. The fried prawns and calamari, accompanied by battered vegetables, was light and tasty. Not a small detail: among the second courses, the Dorica also includes the catch of the day, grilled or baked, such as red snapper, sea bream, etc., in short, those fish that are different from the usual farmed sea bream, sole and croaker. Wide selection of Marche wines, at fair prices, I drank an exquisite Verdicchio di Matelica. Low price, especially in relation to the quantity and quality of the food. In summary: when I return to Ancona I will want to return to Trattoria Dorica to taste other dishes and other wines from the rich menu.

Small but welcoming place, family atmosphere and very friendly staff, excellent cuisine. The house specialty, the "padellaccia dorica", is absolutely worth trying. We'll be back soon

A very conversational place, perfect for those who want to stop and grab a quick bite to eat. Located in front of the station, it provides excellent support for commuters and beyond. I ordered Ascoli olives and cremini, both homemade, very good; the pappardelle with wild boar very good (I appreciate the grated cheese left at the table) and the creme brulee. All the desserts are homemade, the environment is warm and welcoming, the service is very helpful and kind. I recommend booking.

Piccola trattoria calda ed accogliente, piatti tradizionali cucinati benissimo. Ho mangiato una polenta buonissima .. servizio efficiente e personale gentile. Prezzi giusti. Ve lo consiglio
