Average experience at this restaurant. The food was decent, but the interactions with the waiters and the owner were rather cold and lacking in friendliness. As soon as we arrived, a bottle was placed and opened on the table without our being asked for our opinion. I don't particularly recommend this restaurant, which seems to prioritize profit over quality of service.

The culinary experience at this restaurant is simply superb. It's hard to find anything like it in town. It's the only truly valid alternative to the now tired seafood menus.
The cuisine is never banal, and uses excellent ingredients. Whether you're dining à la carte or enjoying a full-service banquet (I've tried both), it's a place that never disappoints. Never.
It's impossible, almost sacrilegious, to come to Polignano and not eat at Piga.

We had dinner, the staff is not particularly nice or accomodating. The food was decent but the antipasti arrived one after the other. The water is set on the table without asking which feels straight away like they are forcing choices upon you.
Dinner was ok but was not a particularly nice experience.

Beautiful outside area, lovely staff and delicious food - what more could you ask for? We had dinner, the pasta was fresh and delicious and the meat board was so good. A great experience overall!

A little off the beaten track, and not just because of that, a cut above many others. The regional lamb was of excellent quality...gnawing on the many small bones was a joy because every part, whether fat or meat, was a wonderful taste experience. Brilliant meat sauces to accompany the cheeks and pasta sauces. We were less fortunate with the wines, but that was our choice. The service crew is quick and friendly. The fact that not everything on the menu was available is also a sign that they don't buy too much and that everything is fresh. It's worth the trip from the centre!
