Been a couple of times, the first time fantastic, the second a complete disaster in terms of service... excellent quality of meat but cooked better than the previous time.

Absolutely worth trying, not just for meat lovers, it is a pleasant and tasty surprise for everyone. Historical name but the management has changed (for the better), nothing to send to the previous one... on the contrary. The environment is pleasant and elegant, the cuts of meat and the "space" grill immediately capture attention and curiosity. The welcome, the friendliness as well as the professionalism of the service, a varied and interesting menu, where there is a section dedicated to the grill in which the best cuts are presented, a high-quality wine list, to which Alessandro's timely advice is added, are all elements for this quality location. The final bill is just a detail, satisfaction comes first. Well done and congratulations.

As lovers of quality meat and taken by the positive reviews, we thought that the meat would be a delight so we booked for Easter lunch... good yes but nothing to take away from other restaurants where the meat really melts in your mouth... booking for 2pm they let us sit 40 minutes later, offering us a prosecco while we waited... as soon as we entered we were welcomed by the very pretty waitress who was also quite busy working, but she was dressed for a nightclub which was definitely not appropriate clothing for the role/place.40 minutes later they let us sit we take the order super dirty glass of water and I ask to kindly change it... we order the order arrives with a frightening slowness also because all the tables were either at dessert or finished eating therefore apparently free... around 3.15pm the food finally arrives my partner ordered secrets to discover or something like that a miserable and dry slice of meat that just looking at it made you sad the angus arrives, good but not very good for them it was 1200kg for us it didn't exceed 800g between the bone and all the fat. I ate around 100g of meat also because I managed to eat almost all of it on my own. 1 glass 1 bottle of water 2 place settings 2 second courses and 2 desserts we paid 170 which would have been worth it if the food had been wow but honestly too much for the quality served I'm sorry I'm sorry to leave only 3 stars because I understand the commitment, the work, the effort and everything behind it but this is our experience.

excellent restaurant for meat, atmosphere and staff!

What a disappointing experience! From a cold greeting of "yes?" to basic service, it's not a place I care to visit again or recommend. The ribeye I got tasted good but there was nothing special about it. The service was professional but far from friendly. If it were, I would have at least ordered dessert. It felt like they couldn't really be bothered. I didn't even get a basket of bread that other tables got and that I've gotten in every other restaurant in Milano. I still was charged 4€ for coperti. There are many better options in Milano for good steak that have much friendlier service and offer more with the meal. I went to 2 of them last weekend even (one in Porta Romana and the other in Isola), and they were much better in value and experience.

What can I say, I spent a nice evening with friends in a place where professionalism and attention to detail are the order of the day, very high quality meat, kind and knowledgeable staff but the real protagonist is the owner who acts as an excellent host, we didn't even look at the menu!!! Superlative!
