Recommended by a local, but maybe it was a bad day. The octopus wasn't fresh at all, which I think is the bare minimum for a place in the city. Reasonable prices, but the food wasn't up to par, at least this time. Too bad. The complimentary olives were delicious.

This tavern in the center of Monopoli has a simple atmosphere, just as you'd expect from an osteria. Very good food, prompt service, and a very friendly owner.

Warm welcome and accommodation. The fresh and delicious appetizer arrived promptly. The first course was a shame: mediocre seafood spaghetti. It was difficult to eat because the shrimp had not been cleaned of their antennae, in addition to the 40-minute wait. The second course, fried fish, was cooked in oil at the wrong temperature; the batter didn't adhere well to the fish and was heavy. The house wine was good. I would perhaps recommend it on non-holiday days.

This is our second visit to this osteria in the heart of Monopoli, and I can only confirm that the food is truly excellent. I recommend this place to everyone.

Buena opcion para comer y la atencion amable. El lugar esta muy buen ambientado. Pedimos tiramusu y estaba muy sabroso.

Geen hoogvlieger maar voor een redelijk prijs eet je prima. Vooraf hebben wij de Friti di mare gehad. Lekker. Daarna beide een pasta. Goed op smaak en op temperatuur. Huiswijn wit 8€ per liter was prima. Ga hier gerust eten en weet dat je eenvoudig en lekker eet. Ciao Frenske

31/08/2025: I had dinner at this farmhouse while staying at Masseria Ciavatta. The appetizers were authentic and plentiful, paired with good wine. The main course was delicious; I especially enjoyed the bombette. 😋

So many beautiful and packed places on a Tuesday in early September, we opted for this restaurant a bit out of necessity... and instead, everything was delicious at a fair price! Just one piece of advice: order the mixed appetizers and then decide for yourself, because they are plentiful and delicious!
16/08/2025: Place, family atmosphere, it felt like I was at my grandmother's house. Smells like childhood, I loved the place, good food, good drinks and the best, super committed waiters
