Osteria Pastella In Firenze

We ordered the ragu lasagna and the flambéed pasta. Both were delicious, but the portions were small and expensive compared to other places.

We saw this place all over socials with the popular truffle pasta in the cheese wheel. We decided to give it a try. The experience with cheese wheel was good but that was about the extent. The other dish we had with the pasta boar ragu was rather bland. The tiramisu was unlike all the others in Italy and my wife and I had split decision on if we liked it or not. May be personal preference but I enjoyed it. The service felt EXTREMELY rushed. The moment we ordered they were table side with the cheese wheel and other dish. Post meal they were asking for dessert right away and unlike every other place in Italy, after dessert they immediately brought the check for us to pay. If you have been anywhere in Italy you know you are constantly asking for checks. We still had half a bottle of wine to finish and it felt they were rushing us out. Our reservation was specified to last an hour and an half but we finished paying after only 45 minutes. Out the door in an hour. Overall it was okay. More of an experience than a good quality Italian restaurant. Very very busy so make a reservation well in advance!

The restaurant is worth the hype. It was one of our favorite meals in Italy.

Eating here was one of the highlights of the trip. Out of all the Michelin rated restaurants where we have eaten, this non rated little restaurant is by far my fave of any restaurant in Italy. Of course I had the flaming pasta which was beyond delicious. Fabulous service. Fun. Delicious food, what else can I write? Oh, make reservations months in advance like we did for a quick sitting when they open at 7.

The food was very delicious. The star dish, the tagliatele with fresh cheese, was good but it is really very expensive to pay 28 euros for the amount they put on the plate, it is a minimal portion. The most normal atmosphere, going down. I didn't like at all the rush with which they serve you. They rush you to order, they bring you the food quickly and within minutes they ask you if they can clear the dishes. At no point did I ask for the bill, but a girl immediately came with a posnet to collect us. It's all good that the place is requested, but I wasn't even there for 40 minutes.

Excellent place to eat pasta in Florence. Don't hesitate to queue, it's worth it and, above all, it goes quickly without much waiting time.

Me gustó muchísimo. La atención es muy buena, esmerada. El show con los fideos en la gigante horma de queso es buenísimo. Muy rica la comida. Lo mejor es la atmósfera del lugar. Y siempre hay que reservar. Pasamos una de las mejores noches de Firenze en este lugar

Went there ended on some recommendations Had to wait in line as it was quite busy We were offered a place outdoors and we immediately took it as the smell of food was great and we felt hungrier ! The service was really good The food was amazing and worth every word of praise !
