Osteria Pastella In Firenze

Our server was absolutely so rude. She didn’t give us time to look at the menu and we asked her to give us a minute … she refused and just stood there. Said the kitchen was closing so we had to order immediately. Brought my daughter to tears. Otherwise it would have been lovely.

The best pasta I have eaten in Firenze

After trying Osteria Pastella during a two week trip to Italy, I can confidently say that it lives up to the hype. I highly recommend making a reservation as the line was out the door at 9:30p when we arrived. If you can overlook the social media influencers only there for the viral truffle tagliatelle, it really is a special experience. Servers greet you with a complimentary glass of prosecco, and are very attentive throughout the experience. I felt like each member of the staff was invested in our dining experience. My husband and I enjoyed a bottle of Montepulciano, duck carpaccio, boar ragu, and truffle tagliatelle which were each some of the best dishes we had in Florence. We ended the evening with a heavenly plate of cantucci and complimentary limoncello. I cannot emphasize enough how wonderful the hospitality and food were. Yes, come for the truffle pasta, but enjoy their other thoughtful and delicious menu items as well. You won't be disappointed.

Made the bookings at least 4 months in advance from SG. Was glad to have made the reservation as the queue was extremely long for no reservations. The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming. Overall dining experience was great. Although the taste and quality of the Italian pasta was nice and delicious but not better than what is available in SG hence was a bit of disappointment probably due to high expectations since we are in Italy. But it is still worth going to make trip to try otherwise you will never know how the food tastes compared to other homemade Italian pasta restaurants.

The truffle pasta is a must! The waitress suggested the beef ravioli and it was surprisingly soooo good. The queue moves fast. The staff is so friendly.

Incredible in every way. The food, the atmosphere, the service, everything was unbeatable. When you arrive they serve you a glass of champagne and when you finish they give you a shot, in our case of Limoncello. The pasta is fresh, they make it there, and it is exquisite. To repeat.

Fantastic. The place is unwelcoming and somewhat old-fashioned but the Garrido crusted pasta that they make on the spot is the best in all of Florence.

Amazing food and cheese wheel pasta was definitely worth it. Servers didn’t seem excited to be there, and we were sat at a table with other people which was a little awkward as a party of 2.

Me gustó muchísimo. La atención es muy buena, esmerada. El show con los fideos en la gigante horma de queso es buenísimo. Muy rica la comida. Lo mejor es la atmósfera del lugar. Y siempre hay que reservar. Pasamos una de las mejores noches de Firenze en este lugar

Went there ended on some recommendations Had to wait in line as it was quite busy We were offered a place outdoors and we immediately took it as the smell of food was great and we felt hungrier ! The service was really good The food was amazing and worth every word of praise !
