This Place is hyped by Instagram influencers, the ambience is okay, the food is good but expensive, the service could be nicer and I left the place hungry. There are definitely better places to eat in Florence.

busy place so reserve in advance. i did not like the boar meat pasta (but i’m just picky) and they offered to replace it free of charge. also got the tiramisu it was so delicious. they gave free shots at the end

We came on my birthday because I was excited to try pasta with cinghiale (because the wild boar is the animal of Florence and who doesn't love wild boars)
I loved it.
I think Nacho only wanted carbonara on this trip, but he was very happy. The truth is that it was a perfect ending to the Florentine experience.

Popular tourist spot. Came here to try the truffle pasta, it was just too heavy and salty.

Is this a tourist trap? Possibly.
Is the food delicious? YES!
We were a bit hesitant when we walked up and saw the massive queue outside - then someone informed us this was the ‘TikTok’ restaurant… We were worried!
BUT, this place exceeded expectations - awesome service and terrific food (we tried quite a few apps and pasta dishes). Not sure how they manage to maintain the quality despite being so busy, but well worth it.
Definitely recommend making a reservation beforehand.

I got to Osteria Pastella by chance, just because it was close to my hotel. Just after that I realized it's a popular place. And it deffinetly deserves it! Perfect food! The Tonetto del Mediterraneo is the best dish I've had in Italy so far!
Also, staff is very kind and ready to help. We were at an outside table and a storm ruined part of our food, they immediately offered to move us inside and make us new ones (that came very fast and as good as the first)
There is always a line. Get there early or make a reservation

I'm not sure if the taste is that good considering the long wait. The pasta using truffle and grano padano was greasy, but my group ate it well. The octopus tastes good, but it's a bit disappointing. Perhaps expectations were high.
This was my second visit. Last year I visited alone, this year with my wife. It's still delicious and the lines are still long, but it's definitely worth a visit if you're in Florence.

The truffle carbonara is amazing, but the tuna carpaccio and other seafood are also delicious!
