A delicious seafood dinner for an engagement anniversary. The service, cuisine, and ingredients were exceptional. The only drawback was that it was a bit noisy, but still 5-star.

Excellent restaurant just steps from the tourist bustle, in the Capo area of Palermo. Hospitality and kindness are guaranteed, and the variety of meat and seafood dishes is excellent, with something for everyone, and the ingredients are carefully selected and fresh. The fish dishes are priced in line with other Italian restaurants, though average. The atmosphere is pleasant, though a little more soundproofing could be a plus, but the friendly staff makes up for it!

A place dear to my heart.
As a Palermo native, I often come to this restaurant.
I must say that "Osteria Pane e Alivi" is a place I would recommend to both locals and visitors alike.
Excellent food, excellent quality, a warm welcome, and a special mention to Federica, who manages the dining room with professionalism, kindness, charm, humor, and a warm welcome from days gone by: a girl straight out of the great old movies.
Absolutely recommended.

We happen across this fab restaurant. Took a note and came back the following day. It was just what we hoped, an authentic Sicilian experience, delicious food, lovely staff and good wine too! The mixed platter as a starter was excellent! Highly recommend!
