Yesterday, together with a couple of friends, we had lunch at the tavern Nonna Nina; I have to compliment the owner who welcomed us with kindness and for the really nice place, very clean and well looked after and above all I really appreciated the ban on dogs, I agree! It is not hygienic to bring animals to the restaurant! It bothers me! The food was very good, we ate: fried food, tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and truffle, timbale with turnip greens, and finally chocolate salami, then they offered us an aniseed liqueur, all really good, in fact excellent! The environment is perfect, you can converse peacefully. We will definitely be back!!! Congratulations to all the staff for their kindness and professionalism!

Family-run tavern in the heart of the historic center of Ascoli with a few tables. They offer typical cuisine, in my opinion, not exactly from Ascoli, but from central Italy. In fact, as a first course we took some MEZZE MANICHE ALLA GRICIA, a little dry and lacking in bacon but perfectly cooked, some SPAGHETTI ALLA CHITARRA WITH RED MEAT SAUCE, light and not very full of oil with some pieces of meat, and some RAVIOLI STUFFED WITH MEAT, PORCINI AND CHEEK, light but not exactly memorable with a too oily white sauce. As an appetizer, a classic ASCOLANO FRIED MIX, excellent breading but there were very few olives, the strong point of Ascoli fried food. Finally some delicious PISTACHIO and ALMOND SEMIFREDI. Very friendly and courteous staff, and really honest prices for the quantity of really generous portions. We spent €100.00 for 4 of us, including 2 bottles of water, a quarter of red wine and glasses of local anisette offered by the owner.

We found this tavern by chance and it was truly a revelation. The friendliness of the owner immediately put us at ease, the dishes were really good and local. Excellent price and quality with lots of anise liqueur offered, stellar. Highly recommended!!

Even though we hadn't booked, the owner welcomed us very warmly. The food was quality, delicious! The environment is very elegant but at the same time familiar. The service was excellent, a special thank you for making us feel at home with our 9 month old daughter! Not everyone has empathy for children.
