A few steps from the city center of Livorno stands the Il Melafumo tavern... a picturesque place that offers excellent fish-based dishes... the strong points are the quality of the products and the quantity. Top dining room staff.

Squares, monuments, panoramas ... essential elements in a holiday but not exhaustive if the fundamental element is missing: the local cuisine associated with a historic venue. This time luck (booking a table) helped me, it seems that even the people of Livorno have difficulty finding a table. Well I won't describe anything, to make those who don't know Melafumo better enjoy the dishes and the atmosphere of the place.

Qualità prezzo ancora ottimo (prima si mangiava meglio), molti piatti arrivati un pò freddi, nessun dolce alla fine, locale privo di riscaldamento con porta che rimane sempre aperta....

Come definire questa osteria anni 70? Calda, gradevole, con cibo genuino e abbondante. Mai tralasciare di tornarvi !! Antipasto di impepata con ceci e baccalà fritto, gnocchi magistrali e ombrina da resuscitare i morti. Tiramisù squisito. Mai rinunciare!
