Osteria Mediterranea Sesta Stazione In Vietri sul mare

The staff is knowledgeable and very friendly. The food is top-quality, prepared by the chef and owner. The location is beautiful and very characteristic, set in the middle of glass overlooking the sea. We highly recommend this experience and sharing it with others.

Excellent Restaurant, truly excellent!

For an Osteria I found this much too “Restaurant” like. Prices are really expensive compared to other Osterias we went to eat at. We personally did not find the food very special. Gnocchi were exactly 8 large pieces with some eggplant. And on the pizza with anchovies there were 5 half fish on it. However, the service was very good, that was not the problem.

Tradition and creativity in a charming little square We went to Osteria Sesta Stazione on an early summer evening and fell in love: with the place, the flavors and the atmosphere. The location is truly evocative, with outdoor tables in the little square decorated with typical Vietri majolica — an authentic and relaxing corner, far from mass tourism. We ordered two unforgettable first courses: Candele spezzate Vicidomini with red tuna genovese and Provolone del Monaco — a surprising dish, deep and well-balanced in flavors, Tonnarelli amalfitani, very fresh and tasty, with the sea that you can really feel in every bite. To follow, an excellent fried fish: dry, crunchy and generous. And to finish in style, a chocolate eggplant that really won us over — sweet, intense, perfectly executed. An experience that we highly recommend to those looking for authentic seafood cuisine, dishes that are never banal and a refined and authentic context. We will definitely be back.

A very pleasant culinary experience and friendly and helpful staff

Lovely restaurant. We ate: bread, butter and anchovies buffalo mozzarella caprese spaghettone with colatura fried food amalfi blonde beer Everything AMAZING. Strong, authentic flavours, expertly cooked. Special mention for Monica who served and entertained us with kindness and professionalism. An unforgettable place.

Siamo state a pranzo una domenica di marzo ed abbiamo avuto la fortuna di essere state baciate dal sole! Tavoli all'esterno nella piazzetta e locale interno arredato e curato con uno stile semplice e raffinato...i colori caratteristici si mescolano all 'odore della buona cucina. A passeggio nel cuore di Vietri sul mare, ore 15, affamati, iniziamo a dare un'occhiata su internet per cercare un posto in cui pranzare qualcosa al volo, ci imbattiamo in questa osteria, vediamo che siamo a 2 minuti a piedi e decidiamo di andarci. Consci del fatto di essere un po' fuori orario chiediamo al personale se fosse possibile accomodarsi e mangiare un boccone. Ci accolgono e ci preparano un tavolo. Noi prendiamo giusto due primi, una genovese di mare ed un tonnarello con patate, provola e bottarga di tonno. Due piatti spettacolari, ci hanno convinto pienamente, oltretutto porzioni abbondanti. Prezzi in linea con l'offerta. Staff gentile e disponibile. Fortemente consigliato.
