A historic restaurant in Sestri Levante serving traditional dishes. Long, comfortable counters allow you to sit with strangers. The dishes are well-prepared and delicious. The menu is on the blackboard, and the staff are friendly. Prices are reasonable.

...perhaps a little pricey... basically, two main courses, one farinata, one wine, and two desserts... €35 per person is a bit steep..., also because the portions are fairly mediocre... the ribs are three pieces, as much as the rabbit... for a trattoria-style place, and for a table of people from different groups, I find it a bit pricey... I hate to give this review, but unfortunately, I don't think I'll be returning to this place. All the best...

We ate at this simple and authentic restaurant on a weeknight. The farinata was excellent, as were the grilled octopus and the minestrone soup. We highly recommend this place.

A very popular osteria-style restaurant! The dishes offered are limited, traditional, and seasonal, so we had a great meal. Given the large crowd, service is very fast—sometimes too fast, but that's understandable. Being an osteria, you eat alongside other customers, so you get to know a lot of people. Excellent value for money, as is the food! Recommended :)

Authentic, loud, a bit chaotic, unpretentious, fabulous. Despite being a bit overwhelmed as probably the only tourists in the rather full establishment, we were well looked after. The food is REALLY good and not expensive.

02/11/2025: --- I ate at Ostaia a Ribotta in Genoa on October 29th with my wife, and the experience was truly enjoyable. We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious dishes, especially the trenette al pesto and the mandilli al pesto, which were authentic and rich in flavor. Among the daily specials, we chose an excellent cod, cooked with great care. To conclude, dessert: a delicate rhubarb jelly accompanied by a sautéed fresh strawberry, a combination that won us over. The courtesy of the owner and all the staff was remarkable; they made us feel truly welcomed and cared for with kindness. We will definitely return on our next visit to Genoa: a must-see for anyone who loves traditional Ligurian cuisine. *** Would you like to add any details about the location or atmosphere?
