An enviable location: just outside the historic Sassi district. The restaurant is small, made of stone, a little low, but very characteristic. We ate very well, with the right attention to dietary requirements.

I'm lactose and milk protein intolerant. You can easily eat everything from appetizers to desserts without fear of feeling sick. The staff is super welcoming and helpful, and the food is excellent. I highly recommend it.

We had two exceptional dinners here in our recent stay in Matera. The food was beautifully presented, everything we had was delicious from appetizers to dessert, and the service was excellent. These were two of the best meals we have had in Italy during this trip.

15/11/2025: This restaurant felt like a Korean side dish place, where you can choose your food, pay, and eat right away. I didn't have to wait for the food to be served. Most of the dishes were delicious. The steamed mussels were so good I ordered another. I also enjoyed the stir-fried Korean radish greens. I highly recommend it.
03/09/2025: I was looking for a deli where I could get a decent meal at a reasonable price, and I found a place where we ate well at a fair price. Excellent selection of self-service dishes, with takeout and lunch options available in a small adjacent room or on the front patio. Located not far from the city center and easily accessible on foot.
