We went for dinner, we had a first course of pappardelle with wild boar, a reserve red wine and about two kilos of Florentine steak, everything was perfect, of course, the place was reserved and selected, to be done again, thank you very much

An excellent experience if you're looking for a great meat restaurant near Lucca, specifically in Altobascio. Delicious Florentine steak, a welcoming atmosphere, and very friendly staff. Parking is nearby; we arrived in a camper and had no problems.

We booked on the day of the Immaculate Conception just by chance with the desire to taste Tuscan cuisine before returning to Turin, and well what can I say I ordered the tortelli with ragù sauce and honestly they were delicious an exceptional sauce... then the famous Florentine steak which in my life I have never eaten so good... congratulations everything very good 5 stars and more

A wonderful trip out of town, and we were recommended this restaurant. It's top-quality and very reasonably priced. Delicate and flavorful meat, exceptional Bolgheri wine, exquisite crostini, and truly divine salt and olive oil gelato. The kindness and courtesy of the staff, including the owner, truly inspired me. We'll be back. Congratulations, keep up the good work.

04/01/2026: Evening with friends. A very warm and welcoming rustic location. Friendly staff. They welcomed us with bruschetta with wild tomatoes. We ordered/ate: very good appetizers (farmer's cheese, pickles, olives, cold cuts, cheeses, flan and panzanella/fried coccoli) and a truly fragrant, flavorful, and well-topped pizza. All accompanied by beer (carafe/artisanal bottles), water, coffee, limoncello/amaro, also offered by the staff. A truly wonderful discovery. Excellent value. We will definitely be back to try the main courses. Reservations recommended.
22/12/2025: The location is really lovely and charming. I only had takeout pizza, which was good and had a wide variety of ingredients. The staff, all of them, were kind and helpful. I made a reservation, and they were very punctual and attentive.
