I had dinner at this restaurant with my family and the dinner was spectacular. We ate the Florentine steak and the meat was really good, soft and very tasty. As a side dish we had the porcini mushrooms cooked in the oven and they were delicious. The staff were all very kind and helpful. In addition to having ordered desserts (which were also very good), the owner even offered us tiramisu (after knowing that we were from Verona)... a gesture that I really appreciated. My review can only be 5 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 and praise. Thank you for making this evening special 🙏🌟🙏

Posto carino e personale molto gentile. Abbiamo mangiato volutamente solo carne, una bistecca alla fiorentina cotta nel forno a legna. Veramente buona come i dolci.

We visited the Martinelli tavern at the suggestion of friends who live in the area. The venue is elegant, the service professional and refined. We went specifically to try their Florentine steak, which we found excellent both for the quality of the cut and the preparation. The price (just under €50 each for steak, side dish and a glass of wine/beer) is correct. Fully satisfied.

Per il pranzo in famiglia il giorno prima dell’Epifania cercavamo un posto dove mangiare bene, e abbiamo trovato questo, e molto di più: pulizia, estrema cortesia (non eravamo riusciti a prendere la linea, e ci hanno richiamato loro), un servizio attento e gentile, e un’ottima cucina - tutte le portate, nonché il vino, erano assolutamente perfette. Torneremo.

10/07/2025: Wonderful location, excellent food. I especially like it in the winter; it has a special charm. One of the best trattorias, and it's no coincidence that it's been open for over 60 years.
06/07/2025: We stopped by chance in this typical Tuscan trattoria. Differently from what I read in some reviews: - we found the service excellent, not formal but attentive, kind, appropriate for the type of place. - the house appetizer not excellent, the fried chicken equally so, the ravioli or tortelli too spicy seasoned with an excellent meat sauce. More than abundant portions. Pleasant environment with a large parking lot. Fair quality/price ratio.

28/06/2025: If you go to Lucca you must eat there, local and delicious Tuscan menu.
26/06/2025: Exactly what you would look for in a traditional Italian restaurant. He met Gigi too who was very servicial and super lovely. The food was superb and the service was excellent. Highly recommend!
