The staff was very friendly and attentive, even down to the smallest details (they even left a plastic cup and a small fork for our little girl without us having to ask). We had tortelli lucchesi, a beef fillet, and two desserts. The tortelli were very good and flavorful. The fillet was very tender, and the meat was excellent. The desserts were also good.

We dined in the dining room. They served excellent schiacciatine, a first course of tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, and baked potatoes. All accompanied by excellent local wine.

I found this restaurant almost by accident. We had tartare and baked porcini mushrooms as an appetizer, 2 tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, and 2 desserts. Elegant atmosphere, fair prices, and excellent dishes. Recommended.

Fantastic evening!!!! Friendly and efficient staff. We started with crostini with lard and anchovies, crostini with chicken livers, then moved on to over 5 kg of Florentine steak, both plain and with porcini mushrooms, all accompanied by three bottles of wine. The final dessert menu was the icing on the cake. Simply top!!!! A very fair price for what we ate and drank (€55). We only made a 140 km detour to be happy. Highly recommended!!!!

The food was very, very good, and the prices were so good that when you see them, you say, "Thank goodness there are still restaurants with "normal" prices." That evening, the service was sometimes a little lacking.

Posto carino e personale molto gentile. Abbiamo mangiato volutamente solo carne, una bistecca alla fiorentina cotta nel forno a legna. Veramente buona come i dolci.

11/10/2025: The restaurant, nestled in greenery, boasts a beautiful interior and a rustic atmosphere. The food is very good, and they serve traditional Lucca cuisine. Excellent value for money! Friendly and helpful staff. A must try.
04/10/2025: The surprises are BEAUTIFUL. I immediately loved the location, nestled among the olive trees, immaculately kept, and the interior reminiscent of a very chic farmhouse. Not to mention the warm and very professional welcome from the ladies in the dining room! The food and wine are a world away, so I won't say anything else... Just go because it's divine!!! I gave it 5 stars because 10 aren't possible, and I thank all the staff and the owner (a delightful person) for making me spend one of the most wonderful evenings I can remember!!! See you soon!!
