You arrive at the tavern which overlooks the Ticino river by walking along the embankment and going down a small road. The location is really nice. We ate friselle and salad with buffalo mozzarella, pears and pistachios as an appetizer, then aubergine parmigiana and ribeye, and chocolate cake. All good. Low and honest prices. Very fast and courteous service.

Honest trattoria on the banks of the Ticino. I kindly recommend paying extra attention to the oil used in fried foods (read: chips and pestitts)

I had never been to this place and I had seen it a thousand times while passing by bike and I wanted to try it. I wasn't completely disappointed but I expected something more. The food is good nothing to report but overpriced on some dishes. The excellent service, all the staff are polite, friendly and professional. The location was splendid but completely ruined by the hairy cats that fell from the trees and ended up on you or on the table or on your plates... I consider this unacceptable, if you want to serve outdoors you absolutely must treat the plants against these insects. In conclusion I don't think I will eat here again.

The food isn't bad but the place is really cheap (only on the outside) infested with hairy cats that are everywhere. The service is fast and kind.

Nice location on the right bank of the Ticino just north of the city... Acceptable food with a challenge of proposals on the menu that cover all national cuisine

18/11/2024: A restaurant that deserves five stars. A menu with local specialities, a refined and romantic setting and a fair price for the quality of the food. More or less with 40 euros you get a starter, a course, dessert, coffee and a glass of wine.
28/09/2024: Tried it yesterday with a couple of friends during a trip from Liguria Located in the historic center of the town, an elegant environment with attention to every detail, very clean and very welcoming Professional and friendly staff Excellent cold cuts appetizers, super tagliolini with porcini mushrooms, delicious slices and desserts Honest account with respect to the raw materials and wine ordered Highly recommended

23/08/2024: Chef Gianmaria "Jimmy" Meschini; in sala la figlia Carolina e Martina. La cena: Vino: - Spumante Cuvée Extra Dry az. Villa Galà. Pane bianco; pane ai 7 cereali con fichi e noci; focaccia, tutto di produzione artigianale. ANTIPASTO (è un piatto per due persone): - salumi e formaggi (salame crudo di Varzi DOP; salame cotto; coppa piacentina; pancetta cotta al forno; Mollana della Val Borbera; pecorino; Blu Cheese; caprino al pepe; caprino al peperoncino). DESSERT: - crostata con confettura di mirtilli neri. - torta al cioccolato con gelato di fichi e noci: Caffè a chiudere. Vini elencati a voce anche al calice. Non è previsto il menù degustazione; à la carte un antipasto per 2 persone a 18€; 3 primi a 12€; 2 secondi a 18€; 9 dolci elencati a voce a 6€. Servizio gentile in un ambiente caratteristico. 13/08/2024: Seconda volta che veniamo e per la seconda volta lo consiglio! Ottima accoglienza non solo del personale ma anche della titolare, aperitivo perfetto prezzi giusti, materie prime eccellenti.
