A typical #osteria in the #Langhe that serves traditional dishes as expected, good without trying to overdo it.
We had a classic, #uovaallacocotte with fresh #truffle and #tajarin with mushrooms.
The tajarin were good, but I've had better, I'd give it a 7.
As for the egg à la #cocotte, it was the first time I'd tried it, so I have no basis for comparison, but as a dish, I liked it; I found it to be a good balance. I'm not a fan of truffles; I generally can't quite decipher their flavor, and this time was no different, so I don't feel like criticizing it.
All in all, a good place, very homey, always pleasing and does its job well.
Fair prices.

Traditional Piedmontese dishes reign supreme at this trattoria in San Damiano d'Asti. The restaurant has a few tables inside and a few outside in the warmer months. I ate well, finding a few meat-free dishes since I'm vegetarian. The service was very friendly, while the value for money is perhaps a little high, but you can taste the quality of the ingredients used. Overall, I was satisfied.

We had lunch under the palace's 19th-century portico and everything was to our liking.

A great place to stop for a lunch break that lives up to expectations. Excellent food and a superb selection of wines. Don't miss their artisanal panna cotta at the end of the meal.

Locale situato in centro paese sotto i portici,ho pranzato alla carta un primo ed un secondo e contorno. Primo piatto ravioli di porri di cervere con patate seirass burro e acciughe,discreto ma non entusiasmante.Seconda portata tagliata di fassona e contorno patate e carote,la carne era discreta e cotta al punto giusto mentre le patate apparivano riscaldate sia alla vista che al sapore,spesa complessiva €42 comprensiva di 2 calici di vino complessivamente corretto;un pallino in meno causa pane nel cestino risultato stantio,in sostanza non del tutto soddisfatto.
