A trip to the Christmas markets of San Damiano and then we had lunch in this place. I recommend it. Kindness and typical Piedmontese dishes.

Beautiful restaurant with some rooms on the lower floor with very characteristic brick ceilings. Excellent local food with truffle dishes in season, local wines and attentive and convivial service

Excellent starters and main courses, the first courses a little less so but definitely worth trying as my opinion is subjective, all in a welcoming environment, excellent wine, the nettle herbal tea was delicious!! The staff were very helpful but in my opinion too much time between one course and another...

12/11/2024: Wonderful restaurant that retains the charm of times gone by but with an eye to the future. Dishes typical of the area but which hide the secrets of know-how, in a unique way. Unparalleled kindness and professionalism. Thanks for the wonderful experience.
04/11/2024: Locale particolare molto ordinato e pulito. Cucina del territorio preparata con cura e con sprazzi originali davvero piacevoli. Da ritornare!

Osteria Il Gheub

09/02/2025: It is a small and delightful, well-kept trattoria. The raw materials are local and of high quality, the combination of flavors in the dishes is well thought out, a small wine list but from excellent local producers. You can see that in the kitchen there is someone who has taste, beyond a few small, forgivable mistakes in the details (we are not in a starred restaurant, it is a restaurant after all). The service is friendly and attentive, the place welcoming, the quality/price ratio excellent. Really worth a trip to Monferrato.
