Osteria L'Orto dei Mori In Venezia

Beautiful place. The staff were so friendly and took care of our every need. Unfortunately we had to change room due to a leak but the hotel moved us to a similar room and gave us a complimentary bottle of Wine for our trouble. The are is close to everything but far away enough from the madness in the centre. You can get anywhere from this hotel by walking. Loved it.

Beautiful hotel, loved the decor and location. The only negative on the room is that it was beautiful but quite small resulting in the bed being small. I would still recommend this hotel.

We absolutely love this hotel & the staff! We got the only open air suite on the canal which was beautiful. The staff is very helpful, kind and accommodating. We enjoy the breakfast and being away from the touristy areas but within walking distance. The rooms and hotel are very clean. We were so happy that I rebooked after leaving Venice for a few days in Milan to return. We enjoyed getting a private water taxi from the airport which brought us to the front door of the hotel where we didn’t have to bother with our luggage.

A family getaway for 3 days before returning to work and its hectic pace! We were delighted with this stay! First of all, the hotel: the rooms are large and beautifully decorated, and the buffet breakfast is very substantial. The staff: charming, patient, welcoming, taking the time to explain how the city works and share good places to eat! The staff is also multilingual, which is rare in Italy! Thank you! The neighborhood: we loved it; far from the noise and bustle of the tourist scene, yet very lively, authentic, and full of charm. The vaporetti system, which could be compared to the Parisian metro but in river form, is a must-have but very practical! Get a day pass. No cars for 3 days; what a luxury to be able to wander around a pedestrian island! In short, it was great and we still have in our heads the meandering canals and the multitude of bridges that we went up and down!

Fantastic man from Albania who welcomed us, gave good information, was friendly and happy all the time. Gave us a lot of laughs when we got there after a six hour drive and it was very late. Paraviz who was in charge of breakfast, what a nice, nice, happy man. Extremely nice staff. Different and fun hotel with cool features in the rooms, corridors etc etc. Book in advance, count on a 20min trip by boat bus.

Everything was great. We felt at home from the moment we walked through the door. The service was exceptional (reception, waiters, facilities, etc.). Cleanliness. Good breakfast.

This hotel was exceptional! From the process of booking to actually staying here, everything exceeded our expectations! Our room was immaculate and truly exquisite. We really enjoyed staying here. We also had our flight cancelled on us last minute and the hotel staff went above and beyond to accommodate us by adding a night to our stay and upgrading us to a premium room at no extra cost. The staff were always so helpful and available to answer questions or give advice about getting around the city. If you are traveling from the US, we booked a double room and the bed was super spacious and comfortable. I would compare it to a king sized bed. I highly recommend staying here you will not regret it!

Beautiful hotel in the heart of Venice

Comida excepcional, ambiente fabuloso y personal maravilloso. No había reservado pero logró conseguir una mesa. Esta es una experiencia muy especial.

Vinimos aquí directamente de un vuelo, así que estábamos cansados y en necesidad de buena comida y buen vino. ¡No defraudaron! . La comida era fabulosa italiana y todo lo que habíamos querido. Necesitaba comida sin gluten. Toda la pasta era casera, así que nada para mí, pero había mucho más para elegir. Tuve v hígado de terneros mi nieta tenía un filete raro - y lo era - y mi hija tenía comida de mar. Encantador. Solo estuvimos en Venecia cinco días.
