Osteria l'Orciaia In Bucine

Absolutely wonderful. The town, the restaurant, the atmosphere, the proprietor... It is an experience that should not be missed when you're in this part of beautiful Tuscany

Spent 10 days in italy traveling north and south. Went to restaurant after restaurant, all better than the next. Then we found Osteria L'Orciaia, walking in felt like being invited into someones home. Its family run and quite literally the best of all our dining experiences. The family couldnt be more hospitable and the food couldnt have been better. Its the only location we had a meal at twice. When im back in italy, no matter where i land; i will travel here. An absolute 10/10, if you want a true italian experience you found it.

Without a shadow of a doubt the best place we had dinner in our two week stay in the region. The food was superb backed up by excellent wine and impeccable service. This is how a restaurant should operate and all in a beautiful setting as well. It is a shame we found it just before leaving as it is definitely worth a revisit. Many thanks to the delightful owners for a great evening!

Quiet restaurant in a remote village. One of the few places I've found a chef capable of cooking a Florentine steak well enough (I don't like it rare) without it becoming tough. It was probably the quality of the meat. At €55/hg, I'd say the steak was a fair price. The rest of the menu wasn't very extensive, but everything we ate was excellent. Priced around €40 for a first course, second course, and side dish, with house wine (not bad).

They change the menu every day. If they have it, I highly recommend the peposo, papardelle with ragu, and any of the vegetable side dishes, all superbly cooked and seasoned. Impeccable service and a pleasant terrace with a view.

Amazing food, very nice and friendly atmosphere. It is really worth visiting

The food was delicious! The Pomodorini spaghetti was truly fantastic – one of the best I've ever had. The bruschetta was also super fresh and full of flavor. What's great is that there are plenty of vegetarian options, which isn't always a given. The owner is incredibly friendly and really takes the time to explain everything. You feel welcome here. Highly recommended if you're in the area!

One of the best meals of my life!

Fuimos dos veces durante nuestra estancia. Restaurante familiar. Cocinero humilde, su esposa nos cuidó de maravilla. Platos tradicionales toscanos. Mi hija agradeció las opciones vegetarianas. El vino de la casa era bueno. Volveré.

Recommended by my brother. Family run restaurant. When twice during our stay. Excellent Fiorentina steak. The rest is very good as well. All typical Tuscan. Very good choice of wines but we appreciated the house wine. Relaxed atmosphere. Very reasonable waiting time. My daughter is vegetarian and my wife has DT1. Both were at ease and both times we left this restaurant with a smile.
