Osteria Le Scalette... what can I say... fantastic, it's a must-try every time we go to Castiglione del Lago. Agnese and Roberto are wonderful, kind people. The food and wine are always excellent, fresh, and delicious. Highly recommended for anyone passing through Castiglione and the surrounding area. I also recommend trying Agnese's crème brulee... unique.

Lovely restaurant. About 2 minutes away from the main restaurant street. The menu is focused around local produce - local pig, game meat and lake fish. Not ideal if you are vegetarian. The menu highlights gluten free options.
The wine list has lots of local Umbrian wine which is great. The staff are very friendly.

An interesting gastronomic destination, located just outside the village walls.
We chose the lakeside menu, which proved truly intriguing, with carefully crafted dishes cooked to perfection.
Small seating, a relaxing atmosphere, and courteous, efficient, and friendly service, with reasonable prices.
A highly prized wine cellar on display, with room for the house wine as well.
An experience worth repeating. Excellent service, both in the kitchen and at the tables.

We stumbled upon this special little place by chance. One day at lunch, we ate so well that we went back for dinner! The dishes were generous and delicious in their simplicity. I feel like saying a few words about the two owners... wonderful people, people who stay in your heart. Agnese, what can I say, is an exceptional hostess, very kind and sweet! Roberto is an excellent chef! I honestly can't wait to plan a weekend there to go back and eat there, see them again, and say hello! Thanks again, Agnese, and kisses, see you soon, Stefi and Riki!

Abbiamo improvvisato un pranzo di passaggio in moto, facendo una piacevole scoperta. Deliziose la tagliatelle al ragù di cervo, atmosfera calda e accogliente, gentilissima la signora che ci ha serviti, consigliato!
