Abbiamo scoperto questa piccola chicca visitando uno dei "Borghi più belli d'Italia" Citerna. Il locale si trova sotto dei portici Medioevali davvero suggestivi, l'interno si presenta pulitissimo e curatissimo anche nei piccoli dettagli con una fusione perfetta tra antico e moderno. Abbiamo mangiato davvero bene i piatti presentati con cura e materie prime di ottima qualità.
Unica pecca, le porzioni sono un po' piccole rispetto al costo totale della cena, considerato che ti trovi in Umbria, dove di solito i prezzi sono un po' più bassi rispetto a Firenze. Se nei piatti, la porzione fosse stata un pochino più generosa, sarebbe stato tutto perfetto.

We live in the municipality, but we had never been there. We experienced it this evening for the first time….and we will definitely be back.

The duck ragù dei pici was extraordinary, the fassona tartare was also very good, but if you find it on the menu you absolutely must try the supreme guinea fowl stuffed with chestnuts and sausage, with spinach and pomegranate. Each flavor blends with the other perfectly, but at the same time everything stands out. The fried spinach leaf....a real treat!!!
And what about the orange cream tart with meringue...a delight😋😋😋
To make sure we didn't miss anything, we also had two glasses of wine, so abundant that they were enough for the whole meal.
All for €86 for two, absolutely adequate.
You also deserve the sixth star

Excellent dishes, the waiting time between one course and another is partially justified by the fact that everything is freshly prepared. The cappelletti in capon broth and the lasagna with exceptional mushrooms. The venue is perfect and set in a beautiful setting. The price of 50 euros for the complete menu is certainly adequate for the offer. I would have liked to go back for New Year's Eve dinner but they only offer à la carte menus. Must try.

Very nice and particular location, set in the walls of the Borgo di Citerna, truly suggestive as a place.
Welcoming and well cared for internally and very characteristic on the outside.
