You can have lunch at any time... non-stop. I recommend the tasting menu, the cured meats, the chestnut soup, the polenta concia are excellent.

A new experience at this rustic mountain osteria after a few years away. Nothing has changed. Authentic food, friendly service, fair prices. As before, I chose the tasting menu complete with Aosta Valley appetizers and two soups (barley and chestnuts). The cured meats come from Casa Bertolin, a local deli (Casa Bertolin is nearby and worth a visit for its selection of quality local products). The osteria is also convenient for hikers, open continuously from 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. It deserves more visits.

I visited the Osteria and had a great experience. The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff very friendly. We tried a platter of traditional cured meats, polenta concia with stew, and polenta concia with cotechino and fondue, and I have to say it was out of this world. The ingredients were fresh and well-prepared. The prices were reasonable. I highly recommend!

Exceptional! It was a truly delightful experience. The setting is a characteristic mountain house made of stone and slate, warm and welcoming. The cuisine is traditional. The owner is a spectacular young woman who exudes energy from every pore: brilliant! Attentive staff and excellent food. Excellent value for money. We returned during our short stay after the first time because it's truly worth it, so I highly recommend it. Try it and believe it!

A very well-known and very crowded trattoria, especially at dinner.
The mixed platter was excellent and plentiful, featuring the famous Arnad lard, a true delicacy, while the other cured meats and cheeses were good. We tried the favò, a local soup with fava beans, cheese, pasta, and bread, which would have been perfect if they hadn't overdone the salt. The polenta was disappointing: the accompanying sausages and cotechino were not of the highest quality. The staff was courteous, but the wait was too long, especially for those who hadn't ordered appetizers. The wine selection was extensive: the Donnas vintage (2020) we chose was remarkable, although a bit pricey. The price was average.
