19/03/2026: Something exceptional!! Stars aren't enough.
The atmosphere takes you back to a timeless fairytale. Every room is perfect. Heated, welcoming, and spotlessly clean. The staff, from Januz to Francesco, Noemi, and Christian, are all perfect! I can't stop thinking about them. My regards to the manager, who is not only intelligent, but also lively and extremely knowledgeable. I LOVE YOU
05/03/2026: I stayed two nights at Castello di Guarene. The castle is beautiful and its location in the Langhe is extraordinary, but unfortunately, the level of service was far below expectations for a property of this caliber.
I had requested a bottle of Moët & Chandon Ice Impérial in my room before arriving: a random bottle arrived, and no one apologized in person. The service at dinner was inattentive: no one refilled our glasses with water or wine throughout the meal.
There was no staff member present at the spa. At breakfast, we waited half an hour for avocado toast, which arrived inedible (rock-hard bread with avocado cream). The cocktail at the bar was also mediocre.
The general feeling is that the property is run by a handful of young people, with no visible management presence. A place with great potential, but with service that certainly doesn't live up to Relais & Châteaux standards.

I stayed two nights in Guarene Castle. The castle is precious and the location in the Langhe is spectacular, but regrettably the level of service is much lower than what one expects from a hotel of this category.
Before you leave, place a bottle of **Moët & Chandon Ice Impérial in your home. At the end you had a bottle of wine and some wine to explain yourself in person. At dinner the service was very clear: during the whole dinner I turned to filling the jars of water or wine.
In the spa there is no member of the present staff. In the middle of the meal we were hoping for an uncommon avocado toast (hard bread with a cream of water). The food at the bar was also mediocre.
The general impression is that the hotel is managed by a few young employees, without a visible presence of management. A place with great potential, but clearly not at the height of the Relais & Châteaux standards.
