My niece and I had a fantastic meal here. The host/waiter couldn't have been better, so kind and attentive. House red wine was delicious. The mixed bruschetta was amazing. The fresh homemade pasta was divine and the greens with chili hit the spot. The only downside was that we couldn't finish it all!! 10/10 would definitely recommend!

My family and I ate here, and an ordinary Thursday turned into a wonderful experience. The restaurant is lovely, and the blonde lady who served us was professional, empathetic, and incredibly kind. Superb food... Thank you so much! We'll spread the word throughout our Marche region, and we'll definitely be back!

I went there for lunch in early January, on a Saturday. It overlooks Trevi Square and is a small place, a bit cramped inside, but there's also outdoor seating in the square for the summer. We arrived early and it filled up quickly; reservations are recommended. The staff were welcoming and friendly, the prices were fair, and the portions were generous. We ordered bruschetta, cured meats, and pasta dishes. Everything was excellent, especially the truffle stringozzi, which I highly recommend.

Dinner with friends on vacation in Trevi. They offer gluten-free options but no entrees! However, the appetizers, main courses, and fiordilatte ice cream are excellent. Recommended.

I didn't stay at the Vecchia Posta, so I can only review the restaurant, which is very charming and well-organized. A menu focused on local products, with quick and friendly service. This is the menu I tried: baked potatoes with aged lard; aged Cascia pecorino cheese au gratin with honey; legume soup; ricotta and walnut ravioli with dried tomatoes, handmade with cacio e pepe. Recommended.

What more can I say... I had a great time at the restaurant. I chose the three-course Gusto menu (35 euros), and my wife chose soup and sirloin à la carte. We chose the house red wine (which was excellent), or you can choose from a variety of labels (but I don't recall seeing the wine list). The dessert was also very good. The place is welcoming, and the service is friendly, attentive, and professional. I didn't know about the accommodation options: definitely worth taking advantage of if you're traveling like us.

La Vecchia Posta is a small, refined, and welcoming restaurant in Piazza Mazzini in Trevi, serving truly excellent home-cooked food. It's a place worth discovering, where you have to step inside to see another world. I personally ate handmade cappelletti, and they were as delicious as homemade ones. Not to mention the typical products and Umbrian cuisine. Everything was truly delicious, served in a friendly yet respectful atmosphere. The owners are helpful, friendly, and professional. La Vecchia Posta also has rooms. They're very spacious and charming, taking you back in time. In short, I recommend discovering Trevi by staying at La Vecchia Posta.

A lovely restaurant in the central square. Excellent service, friendly, smiling, and attentive staff. A good menu with excellent, well-prepared ingredients. The house wine is good, and the prices are fair. Well done.

05/12/2025: What a wonderful restaurant! While searching for gluten-free options, this place popped up, and it was definitely the best choice. The risotto is spectacular. We returned for dinner as well and tried the tartare, croquettes, and cod. The portions aren't enormous, but the quality is exquisite. Daniele's service was impeccable. Highly recommended if you're ever in Assisi.
01/12/2025: A very nice osteria. 2 professional, kind and courteous hosts. They offered us a sampling of delicious appetizers. We ordered 2 first courses and they were delicious.

01/01/2026: An inn nestled in the green Umbrian hills near Montefalco, with an adjoining guesthouse. Found completely by chance, it turned out to be a huge stroke of luck. Welcoming, intimate, very rustic and warm, the restaurant proved to be an incredible refuge on a bitterly cold New Year's Eve evening, offering a rich and unique à la carte menu drawing on local specialties. We thoroughly enjoyed every dish and were delighted by the attentive and courteous staff, who were incredibly helpful and attentive to the needs and schedules of each table. The price was completely in line with the service and quality of the dishes offered. The panettone, of course, homemade with all-natural and local ingredients, with creams, recommended for dessert, was so good that we purchased one separately at the end of the dinner. Worth noting was the great humanity and sensitivity shown during an unpleasant situation between a couple at a nearby table. With great tact and delicacy, a very subtle intervention was implemented, which completely resolved the situation. I take my hat off to the attentive service from the owner/chef and the staff. Overall, therefore, a 10+++ rating. Not much to report, but a truly delightful discovery. Congratulations, well done!
