To return to Puglia we extended our time to return to Castrovillari after years. Disappointment for the town but in front of the Tower there is this small tavern. There are several steps up and therefore not suitable for disabled people. But it's worth it. Superlative first courses, cut a little stringy though, very good potatoes. Excellent wine. Too bad the daughter forgot to bring us the appetizers.

Well done. No frills, real food. Excellent service with competence and passion. Excellent. Very tasty à la carte menu with an artist's touch.

We had dinner two consecutive nights. The pastas are very good. First time trying the fire of bacchus pasta, a spectacle!!

chiedendo consiglio alla gente del posto arrivo in questo locale caratteristico, situato nella parte vecchia del paese. ottima accoglienza nonostante il locale fosse pieno. Che dire... cibo tradizionale squisito servito con professionalità e simpatia. Abbiamo trascorso una bellissima serata. Grazie torre infame.

Excellent dinner seated underneath a midevael church and Castillo. Wonderful food (highly recommend the pasta and steak), well spoken and knowledgeable waitstaff, and an atmosphere few have even begun to imagine. I highly recommend this Osteria. I'd even suggest a detour to come here. Give this place a star or 5!

Ospitalità di altri tempi. Lui, Nicola il proprietario simpaticissimo e tutto lo staff è professionale, cordiale ed accogliente. Insomma, andare a cena da Nicola, dopo una giornata lavorativa come rappresentante è una coccola per pochi!! W Castrovillari!!

Excellent restaurant, delicious dishes, fairly fast service, super friendly and nice staff! Extraordinary location, perhaps, the only flaw is the total lack of desserts, written on the menu (Homemade desserts...) but unfortunately non-existent☹️For this reason I don't give 5 stars. Not suitable for those who don't like cats since they are at home in a restaurant 😻
